Gaming Remove game (not firmware) update nag

But what else can i do?
i added the DNS to "163.172.141.219", and secondary DNS to "207.246.121.77" in the DNS settings... Should i do something else?
I have already done this 3 times now (delete wifi settings and connect to it again)

Double-check you entered everything correctly and/or install Incognito.

Those aren't the proper DNS settings for someone who lives in North America.

I dont live in America, i live in Europe now, so that's the settings i have to use

Okay good news is that i can't download an update anymore, i get an error "A Server Communication error has occured, Error code; 2137-8007".
But i still get the nag for some reason even though i removed the game version requirement from the game :/

I thought I read that the firmware itself contains the latest version number for games, but I really don't know how that would work if a game got an update like the next day or something. I had a lot of those x's when the eshop went down, so I deleted the entire game to redownload.

Here is what i did, but it involves to install CFW (EmuNAND) freshly again.

1. Disable wifi on Sysnand.
2. Install CFW (Atmosphere) Emunand using Hekate.
3. Boot CFW (Emunand) once.
4. Install incognito (important part).
5. Boot up CFW again.
6. Done!

The nagging is completely gone even though i know that like 95% of my games is not updated

I haven't booted into sysnand since i first installed CFW (many months ago).

I just disabled wifi on Sysnand and haven't booted or touched it since then...

Hi. I wanted to downgrade Ion Fury to V1.04 (because cheats)
So, Im on FW 10.0.2 and played Ion Fury V1.04, I updated the game to 1.06. Cheats don't work anymore and nobody makes cheats for that version, so I want to downgrade to 1.04
I used @blawar Tinfoil to delete the update, than I installed the 1.04 Update und reset the required version (I reset the update and base game). I also restored the save from the 1.04 version of the game.
Now, when I try to launch the game, there is an update nag, I can only cancel or download.

What can I do now?

I think we should have more discussion about this. Since clearly something is up. I'm starting to have a suspicion that for certain titles, there is some super update nag rather than the normal nag you get. I went to 7.0 on my switch (latest ofw for my switch/matching efuse count) and I could load odyssey just fine in 1.0. Even restoring a save using checkpoint, that was from the 1.3 game update. Moment I updated, locked out. No matter how much resetting you do. Delete save? yup. delete ticket of the save? yup. I attempted resetting it with goldleaf and also using tinfoil. Only going back/restoring the firmware is your only option to remove it
Now this doesn't apply to every game. If I recall correctly, sonic mania no matter what you do, will allow resetting the version just fine.
