Hacking ps3 cfw question

Can ps3 cfw run any ps1/ps2 games or is there a compatibility list? Also can you run ps3 games off an external hard drive?

PS1: I think about 99% of all games work. There was a Tomb Raider game that doesn't and maybe a handful of others.

Yes you can play PS3 games and PS1 off external. But PS2 games can only be played off internal hard drive.

Don't forget psp, it also can play psp games. Used to play the final fantasy zero translated iso through my ps3 before it got released everywhere

Yes but you will have to reinstall it but it's easy.
