DS version is original. Its not only shorter then PS3 version (because for Wrath of White Witch story was expanded) but it uses more spells from Magic Master book and have different locations. And dont forget that Nintendo DS is handheld console without much of a bang in a hardware power.

Can someone please tell me how to get DLC quests and all other downloadable things in this game ? I have finished everything possible, just want to be able to finish the DLC quest and the quest 20 since it can only be done with the DLC spell. AND please tell me, how to acces the WIFI setting in the game withoit it going into an eternal white scree. I am playing it on desmume

Than does not help in this case, since no one in Ni No Kuni in DESMUME can open the wifi settings without the game crashing.

I have menaged to find a cheat that enables all 20 DLC quests :

u activate the quest by pressing SELECT, but be warry, as soon as u click SELECT for the first time after aplying the CHEAT, do not press it again, since it will reset the quests again, so , the tutorial is next : apply the CHEAT after opening the game, press SELECT, take all the quests at Martins, when u take them, save the game and than disable the cheat.

If there is anyone here who is able to provide cheat codes for the GAZZETE and the magic speals and runes that work, please do.

Quest 20 can not be completed without the spell specifely made for it, wich u get trough the download, wich is impossible on DESMUME because of the white screen crash while accesing the wifi setting from the game

I am sorry for spamming like crazy here, I have managed to do some things on DESMUME and I believe this codes and instructions can help people that were looking for help like me regarding this game

To get all imagen tickets :

9210DD94 00004801 1210DD96 00002001 D0000000 00000000 - the trick is to activate the cheat, and at Pokoro temple, HOLD L, and chose the imagen exchange option, and u can get all the missing imagen u can not get during the game.

For the Imagen number 197 Cuckoo you will use the cheat code ( this can be used for any imagen you want to get ) :

again go to Pokoro temple, activate the cheat for all imagen Tickets, than the cheat for 197 imagen. Press L+R and after that release them and enter the Beastiry dex, chose the imagen u want to have and press START. Go out of Beastary menu, talk to POKORO, hold L, CHOSE the Exchange imagen option, and take any ticket - the ticked imagen will transform into an imagen u chose in the Beastiry dex.

In the VIP room , enter this code, and you will be able to see all the vidoes and ingame videos :

I have used the 1st patch u guys provided at the start of the whole thread

there are 3 patches on the first post, that's why I asked that.
I guess you talk about the normal one (with ARM7 patched).

there are :
official patch
arm7 restored patch
retrogamefan patch

Maybe your cheats work on all 3, It was just "in case".

Tried the official patch via Twilight Menu on my old 3DS, white screen. Tried the second patch, the ARM7 one and it boots but with no music. Sound effects still play. Is this the intended behaviour?

Hello guys, sorry for the long post. I just recently made an account in order to share my save file which contains all dlc and a ''fresh'' starting point.
I won't get too much into the details so make sure you check the readme file in order to avoid confusion.
(Big props to user Whaddap for the DNS server guide)

My save is compatible with the following roms

-The Original Japanese backup
-The English Patched v1.0
-The English Patched v1.0 with restored unpatched ARM7.bin
-The Spanish Translation

If i'm uploading this correctly (i'm new here sorry!) the readme and rar files should be at the bottom as attachments.
AGAIN! for better context and understanding please make sure you read the txt file i provided.

PS: if any of you are already at an advanced point in your game, my save file really isn't for you. For this reason, i'm willing
to download the dlc to your own save file if you send it to me so just let me know and i'll answer you when i get the chance!

If you never tested with that flashcard, maybe you could do just the spanish single gazette to prevent unknown freezes.

or if you have time to do both version that'll be fine, but I don't know when I'll have access to gazette reading, so I wouldn't want to continue playing with the wrong one up to notice it's crashing.
If there's a way to read gazette anytime, I can check and report if the full japanese version works with supercard+restored arm7.

(Btw the original japanese daily gazette can't be added because it will freeze any english translated version when trying to view it
on a R4 card)

Hi again! when i first read your post i hadn't realized you also wanted the save with the japanese gazette so I made another one with it included!

Now to clarify what exacly the difference is with the saves:

So the ''Daily Gazette'' is like some kind of newspaper where the developers would post info about the game.
I have yet to translate them so if anyone wants to take the lead, please be my guest! and yes when i mentioned ''R4'' I was referring to the flashcard I own. So please let me know how it goes when you check save, hopefully it doesn't freeze for you too! lol.

I tried the 2nd savegame with all the untranslated gazette downloaded, and it freezes too. I'm on SuperCard DSTwo and Arm7 restored.
Seeing it's not located inside the game, but in the online menu, it's not a big issue unless you choose to display the list of already downloaded gazette.
The other online menu with the list of DLC works fine, and all the DLC are available in the game. They are still unavailable because I didn't complete the required events yet, but they are listed.
All things are working and unlocked. Thank you
