Hi guys,

I am new to this here and bought some faulty Switches on ebay. I received one, where the Battery was completely dead. After charging this one externally and putting it in, I've seen the Nintendo Logo - Switch Logo and run after that in

Error 2134-0501

Which tells me to power the console off and on againg. obv. this won't help. The console isn't charging, and the fan isn't running at all? Maybe because it isn't booted up?

I could payload the Swtich with hekate and have complete access via RCM. Unfortunately I'am not able to boot of neither CFW nor OFW. The currently installed firmware says in the error screen 6.0.0.
The fuse is at 7 - which seems fine?

I checked the capacitory and fuses with my meter around the charging chips but I've not found any grounded caps or something - so I would assume the Chips are ok, but SYSNAND or smth. is broken? Is there a way to rewrite boot section without a Backup?

Thanks for any help!

You can try reinstalling the firmware.
Does it charge in hekate?

I have not tried to reinstall the firmware and no, it is not charging in hekate. If the battery is plugged in I got some shorted capactiors around one of the charging chips, I guess I should try to replace this one?

It's normal!
Always unplug battery when you run tests for shorts!
You can short elements or pads and fry something!

Check LCD connector.
Unplug cartridge slot and check how console behaves without it.
With magnification check USB-C port of the console, sometimes even with magnification hard to see damage.
If non of this helps, suspect M92T36

Hi,
have you got the switch working again? I received a broken Mainboard today with the exact same error code. One capacitor near the M92T36 is shorted and I ordered a new one. But I'm still curios if this error really come from this chip

Ladies and gentlemen, we got him.
You can replace it with either 1uF or 2.2uF 6.3v 0402 capacitor.

Unfortunately I tried to replace the BQ24193 without a microscope for further inspections and realised later on, that I have blown away some of the little tiny resistors of the chip. So I messed it up and if I remember correctly I blew 3-4 resistors and I am unable to find them. :-(
