Hello, This app is a Wii app!!!
You can use it on the vWii side in WiiU, but it's not working for WiiU games.

so before i open a new thread i just wanted to ask here. i have the latest available version of savegame manager gx (Rev127) and i cant save settings. Also whats up with that usb8 thing? its just confusion. I looked on the sourceforge page and there is an open ticket for the exat same problem without a solution. is it just the way it is and the original developers gave up and left it like it is or am i missing something here?

Edit: in the meantime i downloaded the Beta R76 Version and this one save the settings, but does it have the same features as the R127 version?

Hello, Beta R76 have more features and is more stable than R127.
Only the batch management is not fully finished.

@dj_skual As a casual homebrew user, should I use normal SGMGX or Beta SGMGX?
U should use Beta R76

Is there a way to claim ownership of Miis transferred from another console? As in, is there a way to edit Miis that are "not created by me"?

Thank you, FancyNintendoGamer. I'll try that in a bit. I've just run into another problem. I can't seem to install my Mario Strikers Charged save data. I keep getting "Error: Unable to copy datas." I've tried version R76, R125, and R127. Is there a version I'm missing that will work with this game, or am I doing something wrong? I had a similar problem with Excitebots Trick Racing where I couldn't install using R76, but R127 worked just fine. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I just found a save file that had everything unlocked and just moved it from the SD card. Doesn't solve the savegame manager problem, but it's good enough for me. Perfect, even, since I was missing some stages.

Yes you can with the beta R76 release of this app.
you can install a mii that are not been created on the console, then fix the mii's ID, then you can edit on the console.

Hello.:)

Thank you for this great Tool.
I used it today the first time on the emuNAND Saves.
The Version is rev127

I have noticed, that everytime I reboot or after an Wii Power off the Settings are gone...:(
It uses always these Settings:

Then I changed these Settings to:

P1070066.JPG P1070067.JPG P1070068.JPG P1070069.JPG P1070070.JPG P1070071.JPG

And now it works.:)

But as I said, after every reboot or after an Wii Power off the Settings are gone and back to these...

Did I make something wrong on other Settings ?

Thank you for any Help and Advises.:)

Hello.:)

I found a Solution by using the Beta rev76 Version.
Now it works.

Thank you.:)
you found the good solution… beta version is a rewrite from scratch of my app, but not time to finish completely...
just some functions on global mii management are missing.
hope this app will help you.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place but if not, please feel free to delete.
I recently formatted my Wii and now found some of my old save files and now I want to get them back on my Wii. I came to the conclusion that I need SaveGame Manager GX since the save files are in folders like "00010000534f5550" and such. However, when I boot it it only shows the save files found on the Wii, the Miis and the Gamecube save files on my memory card. I downloaded the app from the Homebrew Browser and softmodded my Wii using the steps found on wii.guide just yesterday.
The SD card that the app is not recognising is the same in which everything is put on (apps, bootmii, private, wad, etc.) and I really have no idea of what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks.

Hello.:)

Please be sure it is the Beta rev76 Version.
and not
rev127

You can see it on the Homebrew Channel when you select the Application.

Thank you.:)

Thanks for the quick reply, it is the rev76 though. I also opened Credits and in the top right it says "Rev 76 IOS 249 (Rev65535) (d2x v10beta52 base56)". Again thank you and sorry for bothering.

I looked over it and tested 2 Saves:

In the WiiXplorer it shows:

P1350870.JPG P1350871.JPG

Just Dance 2019 has the Folder 00010000053354545
Metal Slug Anthology has the Folder 000100000524d4c45

I have these in an folder "backup" on the SD Card.

If I open the Savegame Manager and change into this Folder(s) I have the correct Icon and can them "install" back.

PLEASE NOTE: A Savegame of the GAME you want to use has to be already present on the Wii before you can use YOUR Savegame!!!

Thank you.:)

I tried to do the same and it just doesn't work. When I boot up SaveGame Manager GX, it says "Device not found." I downloaded WiiXplorer from the Homebrew Browser, and when I open it, the SD card is just blank, nothing is on it. I have no idea what is wrong with it. Thanks again for the replies.

Ok, I found the cause. It just doesn't recognise my SDHC card, but my SD card is recognised. Is there any cIOS I have to install in order to make it work? Thanks and sorry again for insisting.

Hello.:)

A cIOS in Slot 249 and/or IOS 58 is needed.:)

You can post a sysCheck if you like to see if all is ok.
You can use the Link in my Signature to use the correct sysCheck Tool and post your Result in the next answer please.

Thank you.:)
