uLaunch - custom, open source Nintendo Switch HOME menu reimplementation

uLaunch

The themeable Nintendo Switch HOME Menu Nintendo forgot to make

This isn't some kind of HOME Menu extension, injection, patch, etc.: uLaunch is an entire reimplementation (of key components), 100% open-source!

Let uLaunch be the HOME Menu Nintendo never bothered to make!

Last edited by XorTroll,
how about mention the features you think its lacking??
Ha didn't want to but I guess I will
1. Controller area
2. I would like to see a file browser and ftp server
3. easy background changes
4. slow load time when first switching from switch to homebrew
5. No album

By no way am I saying this is bad, In fact I think it is almost perfect for a v1 release

Just tried it and it looks amazing, thanks so much for your hard work.

A question because this uses less memory than the default home, would it save battery life or is it the same as the default one?

This is so cool! Going to hold of on testing it out myself for now, but will follow this closely! Thanks so much XT <3

Hey, would be interesting to see a theme like these in Ulaunch, obviously only if is possible to change the games art dimensions.

I guess ftp server and file browser are out of scope considering install/uninstall is.

Appreciate all the hard work you put into this, I will give it a try some time this week. Just a bit of advice from a graphic designer though, you might want to rethink your logo, the logo comes off as being a bit phallic.

Can i start the console without ulaunch? I mean with a pressed button at boot? I can't access the data management, but i don't want to remove that stuff.

This is great XorTroll!
there's some way you can see the UI changes without having to compile and release it on Nintendo Switch?
Something like the Yuzu emulator, for example.
