I sure would hope not, since it would be a big fuck you to everyone that already bought a license.

but if you already bought a license, you most likely already are using it on your current switch, and licenses are not transferable to newer switch'es. -- so well you would be anyway buying a second or new one for your newer switch anyway.

Why would it be a fuck you?

The people bought the license and it works for them on normal switch consoles

This may be a new product designed for new switch models

Therefore you pay more money

You're forgetting about the people that bought SX OS without first checking if their Switch was hackable, now they are stuck with a license they can't use.

It's an FU if they charged money for some kind of SX OS 2.0 for existing hackable models. Wouldn't surprise me if they charge for a new hack on new hardware though.

It would show you exactly how quickly they will abandoned a product in favor of more money. As if they're not making enough already.

If you have not used it yet. I see no reason why it would not work. Sx is not changing. Only thing that maybe a problem is those with sx pro only as most likely it's new hardware but that has not been confirmed yet.

I'm pretty sure they just saw SciresM's tweet about being able to get update data from a Switch Lite, assumed an exploit was coming soon, and so they announced a solution early just so it wouldn't seem like they stole it from Atmosphere later.

There's nothing new for patched or Switch Lites.

They didn't even announce anything. All that's been said is that TX is making progress on hacking the newer revisions, source being a retailer that sells their products.
If it was fake, they would have said something about it.

Yeah. that's what I'm hoping, and which is why I said it would be a dick move if they made it a new product.
There is no real need for new hardware since it likely won't use the RCM exploit anyway, it will be something software based. But I'm sure they'll think of some way to sell hardware anyways.

Potential CFW support for Switch Lite by Team Xecuter, it can be real or they are just bluffing, gonna have to wait until they prove it.

I thinks that if it wouldnt be real , they will be removing the sites that promote and charge for a pre order as an Original tx reseller .

We have no way of knowing what the next exploit will look like or how it'll work. That said if it is software based they'd just sell a license for the cfw like they do now, there's no reason to assume old licenses will become invalid though.

They're a business, a business's goal is to make money. And just like with the current set up there'll likely be a free solution for people who are willing to put in the work.
