You can use your current setup of SX's Emunand (hidden partition on the SD) to boot Atmosphere's Emummc using this tutorial. This will be considered as dual emunand booting. Take advantage of the both worlds.

CLEAN UP SYSNAND
> Skip this step if you're using SX's Emunand and being online on Sysnand.
> If you didn't have any previous clean nand backup before
You have no choice here to clean up a dirty nand without a clean nand backup but to believe in this method
> Stop here if you don't want to hurt yourself or even me

Skip this step if your Switch is a brand new one or never ever been hacked.

Access NAND using PC

What you will need
- biskeydump
https://files.sshnuke.net/biskeydumpv8.zip
Run the payload and write down (or scan QRCode) Bis Key 2
BIS KEY 2 (crypt): NUMBERS
BIS KEY 2 (tweak): NUMBERS

- memloader
https://files.sshnuke.net/memloaderv2.zip
Copy *.* in [sample] folder to SD and plug it in the Switch
Run the payload [memloader.bin]
Unplug any USB cable
> Choose emmc line
> Plug USB C <> USB A cable to the Switch and PC

- HacDiskMount
https://files.sshnuke.net/HacDiskMount1055.zip
Run the tool under Administrator permission
> Open Physical Disk > Choose Linux line
> Double click on SYSTEM and fill BisKeys2 in the small table on top
Crysto > BIS KEY 2 (crypt): NUMBERS
Tweak > BIS KEY 2 (tweak): NUMBERS

> From Drive Letter table > Choose a drive disk, N for example.
> Press on [Mount]
Install driver if needed.
Acess N drive from My Computer
> access save folder
> delete all files inside the save folder except 8000000000000120
> Press on [Unmount]

> Double click on USER and fill BisKeys3 in the small table on top
Crysto > BIS KEY 3 (crypt): NUMBERS
Tweak > BIS KEY 3 (tweak): NUMBERS
> Press on [Test] > you will get OK! Entropy
> From Drive Letter table > Choose a drive disk, N for example.
> Press on [Mount]
Install driver if needed.
Acess N drive from My Computer and Delete Everything
> Press on [Unmount] and unplug the USB cable

> Press on [Power] button for 15s or so to reboot the system

> After rebooting, the system will be in initial setup stage.

CREATE EMUNAND AS HIDDEN PARTITION ON SD
> If you're SX Users and have been using their Emunand as hidden partition, just skip this step, go to COPY FILES
> Take advantage of SX Emunand creator (without valid license needed)
> Your SD will be formatted, backup your savedata and other data are needed.

Before creating emunand > Ensure you did delete all WIFI connections and turned on Airplane / Flight mode

Go to SX website > download their latest boot.dat > copy to the root of your SD
Download payload.bin for activating payload via your chosen tools

SX OS Bootloader Menu
> Options
> EmuNAND
> Create EmuNAND
> Hidden Partition on microSD

You will get "successfully done"

COPY FILES
Go to Atmosphere GitHub and download the latest release 0.9.0 and extract all files/ folders to the root of your SD

Create > emummc folder on the root of the SD

Create > emummc.ini file inside of emummc folder

Copy and paste this to emummc.ini

[emummc]
emummc_enabled = 1
emummc_sector = 0x2
emummc_nintendo_path = Emutendo <<< delete this line if you're not SX Users or don't want to keep using SX as your primary CFW

I got banned from ReSwitched discord because of Emutendo word. I'd like to help someone out but ended up in unexpected way. But it's okay.

Hope this will help out.
Enjoy!

Hey,

Id id everything in this guide and its working just finde. However, on my stock Sys-Nand I ran out of space after Mortal Kombat downloaded a whopping 18GB update. I want to play Overwatch but don't have any space left on the SD-Card. Can I increase the size of the microsd-partition that is visible to sysnand with Minitool Partition Wizard (or an equivalent) that or will this break something?

Not sure what you want to achieve in the end.
- shrinking the emuMMC partition? Will not work for all I know.
- Extending the normal visible partition? Why is it smaller than it could be? Did you clone from a smaller to a larger SD card? If yes, then this could actually work with a partitioning tool.

I just want to transfer my "Emuntendo" folder from SX to Atmos. I have no problem creating a new EmuNAND from 0, but want to have my games whitout having to install them again. Where are those games stored on atmos/kosmos (The emuntendo equivalent) so i can copy those files there.

re-read the first post... you can make ur emunand folder whatever u want.. u can even keep the same emutendo so u can swap between sx and atmos

Thanks, wasnt sure. That would be with the "emummc_nintendo_path = Emutendo" line, right?

Then if i make a new emummc, i dont need the to use the "emummc_sector = 0x2" line, i think?

Excuse me, I read the tutorial but was unclear to me. I have sxos emunand not on hidden partition, I want to coexist with Atmosphere. What should I do?
Should I extract 1024.bin file or not? Or should I only copy all the binaries from sxos emunand to the completeemummc.bin file?
Can I share the "emutendo" folder for both the worlds?
Thank you

Since it could ban you so I will just back off and won't use online at all and won't use this EmuMMC because it still could ban you anyway.

I use incognito.
So what should I do? Should I restart from scratch? Will I loose all my games in this way?

what if I want to do the opposite of what this guide is for? Like if I wanted to switch from SX OS to Atmosphere/Kosmos. Is there a way to make SX OS Emunand use the same Emunand Atmosphere/Kosmos uses instead of Kosmos/Atmosphere using SX OS Emunand?

Can someone please help me with this? OP? I'm using Kosmos and SX OS though and the steps in the first post didn't work. My Kosmos Emunand is just looking like my Sysnand instead of my SX OS Emunand. I want both of my CFWs to share the same Emunand. My Emunand is a hidden partition on EX Fat formatted SD card. Anyone with knowledge on how to get this to work properly and don't mind helping me out is greatly appreciated.

Guys, how long does it, usually, takes to finish "injecting" the .BIN file into the hidden partition on WIndows 10?
I'm using John Newbigin's 0.6beta3 version of dd and it's already on 4 hours?

Is this process really that slow?

I remember on the early days of Gateway's emunand on 3DS having a tool to dump and inject easier and faster.
Is there any way of doing this for Switch a bit faster, like any tools?

Thanks!

EDIT: Of course the 3DS's NAND is really much smaller, I know that, but you got the idea :)

Well, it finished after 14 hours or so...
I haven't tested it yet as I'm putting all of the files back to the SD.

I know I'm using Windows + dd and this can explain the huge amount of time!

As a side note, I just found out a tool named NxNandManager from eliboa (It's on GitHub).
It can full dump and restore from file and hidden partiion. Sounds promising!
I'll test it and, if it doesn't work, I'll try this tutorial again but on Mac.

Thx!

How To Setuo Emunand to work with SXOS and ATMOS

1. setup Emunand using SXOS method
2. after putting all your files back now go to your emuMMC folder (create it if you don't have it)
3. open the emummc.ini file (create a new file if doesn't exist) i.e create a text file and rename "emummc.ini" with the new ext
4. Create RAW1 folder if it doesn't exist
5. Paste the follow and save and close it
Code:
[emummc]
enabled=1
sector=0x2
path=emuMMC/RAW1
id=0x0000
nintendo_path=emuMMC/RAW1/Nintendo

Note: nintendo_path: is the path to the Nintendo folder. ATMOS will use this path and SXOS will use its default path. So to merge them change it to one u want to use

You can use hekate or sxos payload

add the follow to hekate_ipl.ini
Code:
[SXOS (EMUMMC)]
payload=bootloader/payloads/SX_Loader.bin

{}

Note: I have place payload in the paylaods folder
