So I've got a CFW 6.2 running atmo offline for months now and ordered a Lite for online (and because I just wanted one).
I've got a good backup (clean OFW 6.2) but want to run the latest games. Going online is not necessary yet, but it's nice to keep this option open for the future.
What's the easiest (or best) option for me?
A: use choi and update it to CWF 9.0.1 preserving fuses?
I'm thinking if I do it this way I won't have to reinstall all my nsp's and leaving the option to go back to stock 6.2, or am I wrong in thinking this?
Alternatively:
B: Restore backup, update OFW to 9.0.1, emunand CFW 9.0.1
C: Restore backup, leave OFW at 6.2, emunand CFW 9.0.1
Suggestions? Option D?

If you don't want to reinstall all of your .NSP files, you can make a NAND backup with all of your .NSP files already installed and restore that when you want to return to CFW. Alternatively, you can make an emuMMC partition now which will include a copy of any installed .NSP files from your sysMMC which will allow you to restore your clean NAND dump to sysMMC without having to reinstall all of your .NSP files (because they will be in emuMMC).

So I got an rcm loader but I haven't transitioned to using it yet. Do I use the rcm loader to boot into heketae then atmosphere off the sd card?
Or can I put atmosphere on to the rcm loader ?

I have just been using it with my pc and injecting fusee primary. I will be going on a trip coming up and would like to figure how to use the rcm loader.

To update, the system to 9.0.1, for example, use ChoiDujourNX.

Is it okay for after you partition for the emunand for it to show up as removable disk. And then having your SD card show up as well. Whenever you plug in the sd card?

The serial number on the sticker is unpatched (XAW70008xxxxxx). The FW is 8.0.1. Even Nintendo confirmed it's not banned.

The strange thing is the serial number under Settings - Serial Information is blank/empty. The joy-cons serial numbers are there but not the console serial.

I cannot connect to E-shop. What should I do?

Switch FW is up to 9.0.1. Assuming you didn't have a typo, if you want to connect to the eShop, you need to update. If you can't update or do anything online related, check DNS is set to auto. If that doesn't work, contact Nintendo support. They're best equip to help. It's possible that the Switch was modded at one point but not banned because he had the DNS set.

Atmosphere is a CFW while Hekate is a payload/bootloader. Only payloads go on dongles such as Hekate. CFW can only go on the SD card but payloads can also be there.

Sounds like the previous owner installed Incognito which removes the PRODINFO from the console. You will need to obtain that from the previous owner otherwise you are effectively banned. You cannot regenerate PRODINFO as it is console-unique.

Update to my problem: I installed the 16 GB Android img to the SD card, used Diskpart.exe in Widows Command Prompt to delete the GPT it created, got a lot of formatting errors, ignored them, and now can follow the guide I got (https://www.dropbox.com/s/kbz26gxib9cqlot/build multicard switch.txt?dl=0). This is probably the dumbest thing I've done, but it worked, so ok.

I have atmosphere 0.9.4 running with the files from sdsetup but now I have problems. When using hbappstore any programs I dl result in errors 2168-0002 and some others. When I install things using goldleaf soon after I get corrupt games on my sd card.

I am using a new sd formatted to exfat. I also tried copying the contents of my sd card to second sd card on fat 32. same problems. I could really use some help making use of the hacks I have installed.

No, only games installed to the system will show up.

Well account bans are far and few in between not to mention that there is no evidence Nintendo cross-bans people for having the same account on other hacked devices.

Are you loading the homebrew menu from the Album or a game/title override?

Hello friends, I have question. I think I messed up somewhere.

emuNAND firmware was 8.0

I successfully upgraded the firmware to 9.0.1 via ChoiDujourNX.

Then I put the SD Card in my PC and replaced files in the following folders,
(Replaced with latest Atmosphere release)

Folders in the Root of SD
" Atmosphere-bootloader-sept-switch "

After I inject the "hekate_ctcaer_5.0.2.bin" payload

I only see "Atmosphere FSS0 SYS" and "STOCK SYS"

I initially followed this guide, and at this step again trying to fix the issue.

All other files are still in the SD Card. Any help? I would not mind starting over if i have to. I just have several game saves.

1. Power on your Switch into RCM, and inject the Hekate payload
2. Navigate to Launch using the touch screen
3. Find Atmosphere FSS0 EmuMMC and launch it

I do not see an option for "Atmosphere FSS0 EmuMMC" ... is there any config that I lost while replacing/updating those folder ?

I am using album, because the game menu override does not seem to work. Holding R and selecting a game only launches the game.

Ok so I found the option to install via usb in gold leaf but it says not connected to pc ?

I did have it connected to another pc at one point it tried to install nintendo pc driver (though sure already had due to rcm) .
Could it just be due to the cables being on the cheap side or do I need to install an app on pc for it to conenct to ?
I was dumping my Xenoblade 2 but I only have like 2 gbs free after so I can't install to sd with the dlc I have.
I'm just going to install to the switch storage for now until i get a bigger sd card.

My problem is that using gold leaf 7.3 which cannot connect with USB to Mac. So I wanted to go back reinx. When I change back the card to reinx installed and I start th console in ram mode its says:
Welcome to Athmsphere Fusee!
ERROR fatal error : failed to stat stage 2 )atmosphere fusee secondary bin.
Press power to reboot.

What should I do to go back to reinx?
