Nope. Didn`t forget. No USB power in RCM mode from Switch.

D+, D- & GND is all you need.

Batt going to 3v and GND. Thats all.

Hello Guys,

today i need your help. I installed a Trinket M0 in my Switch. Plus and USB Strap are soldered.
Now my problem:
I want to updated the Trinket, so i started the cfw, connected the usb cable and put the switch to standby.
After this a Uf2 device popup, i put Part 1 (Perma CFW) to the device. Than Part 2 (Switchboot).
After a restart and vol -, i see Hekate 5.0.1 not 5.0.2.

Thanks for help.

Cheers,
Prime

OK... You either downloaded old files (maybe a few days ago?) I fooked up and didn`t mirror to the MODCHIP_LATEST folder which is what the links in OP use.

Or you have update.bin in /bootloader and it is catching that.

i have that issue, even after the refresh from s few days back.
i use fusee instead of switchboot and rename hekate502 to payload.bin on sd root to get around it

Got a good question for who ever can answer this. I just replaced my digitizer... Screen works perfect in hekate but doesn't fully work when loaded into switch menu . This is very strange. Any ideas??

Indeed strange. Different digitizer voltage levels between payload power management and official HOS power management)I`m guessing. I would have said earthing (in ipads we used to run a bead of Kapton round the perimeter to prevent "phantom touches").

Double-cleck ribbon cable is clean. A high impedance on one of the traces in the ribbon could cause it, especially if voltage levels are different.

Go over ribbon cable connection with a fibreglass pen gently(or an eraser) washed off with isopropyl

Update.: the digitizer is the problem as I connected the old one and it works great (it's just not pretty) and then reconnected the new one and won't work. So I have another digitizer coming. Just sucks that Chinese shit can't be reliable even when new.

The nature of the beast unfortunately.

Probably better off getting a good used screen.

Nothing new to expect when you buy from a wholesaler, you are bound to get fake shit, even though Im a Chinese myself, it is not a Chinese problem more like a global problem when it come to wholesale you are bound to get stuff that doesn't work when you buy from a wholeseller.

Hi all,

Hopefully going to get a Trinket install if all goes well this month...I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to this hardmod, just a couple questions I wanted to ask;

What are straps and if a Trinket install is included with“all straps” what does that mean? Are these button combinations to boot into the Trinket payload?

All straps = Joycon, VOL+, USB Power on reset, USB data, PWR+ and GND.

They are all straps.

Go to various points on the motherboard, to emulate putting a jig in and plugging in a payload pusher.

Understood except joycon...Is this a joycon eject instead of vol+ combined with power to boot a payload?

There is a hidden function (the TRUE nvidia home button - not the picture of the house on the joycon)

This needs activating every boot. We short it to GND
Plus a press of VOL+

This enabled RCM mode. Then we fill the USB buffer, collapse said buffer and run any code we like.

So basically no need to press vol+? Boots into payload with just a power button press as everything else is done by the straps? No need for AutoRCM?
