I'm surprised this isn't being talked about more. It's gonna get a lot of people banned if they don't know about it.
Stealth mode does work as it should but the problem is when you turn it off it breaks some xci loading games they freeze a bit strange really. If it’s on they work ok.

Are you sure it actually works, as in blocks all access to nintendo servers? Because multiple people have said it doesn't.

No not totally sure but I have ran a speed test under stealth mode and it blocks that I will have another look.

It blocks web applets and eshop seems to work ok.

that's what I was thinking, I had a 4TB WD My Passport but it was specifically formatted as FAT32 (I think I did it using it with EaseUS partition manager for Windows - normal FAT32 doesn't work above 2TB under Windows system format tool).
Exactly, plus windows is really bad at FAT32 format. Guiformat or Easus are really good options to make it FAT32 and use your harddrive without issues. Else I know in the past Seagates can be iffy with like everything. But WDs generally always work if they're external.

The talk was it didn't block the system update servers. If that's true people with WiFi on should be getting update notifications to 9.0.1.
For a better test people could use pihole or their own router depending on the router's firmware and see if the switch is making requests.

There are multiple nitty servers, just because update server is blocked dos not mean that all servers are blocked.. All it takes is nitty to hide a completely different url for grabbing logs or change it in an update...
Just to be safe I would not trust it 100%

First run, exit tx menú and nintendo error screen and locked up console. Still needs a bit more of patchjob

Can anyone clarify if 2.9.1 beta burns the GC Fuse in the game cart slot when mounting XCI. There was reports of this happening on 2.9 beta.

I never said that, i said that the rumour was the 2 servers that weren't blocked were sun and aqua. After that i said a proper way of checking.
So i'm giving you a way of disproving the rumours that is easy for anyone to test and a proper way of checking if it works.

Hi Guys, I'm just double checking before i update to firmware 9.0.1 (so please don't shoot me)

SX OS 2.9.1 on sd card
ChoiDujourNX 1.0.2 on sd card
Firmware 9.0.1 on sd card

I should be good to go?

Thanks in advance

If a job's worth doing, it's worth half-assing the fuck out of it.

Same tweet embedded ftw:

There is an app on hb appstore called 90dns checker. It pings nintendo addresses to check if they are blocked, really useful with some companies that dont allow to change DNS servers

My setup works because i have 90dns, incógnito and stealth mode setup on my emunand, so no problem at all.

I want it off to use online, it breaks some online games when you turn it off so you cannot use them it freezes the games and Mario Maker 2 which I use a lot is one of them.

The gc fuse burns when you boot firmware 9.0.0 or above. Specifically when you do so without using nogc patches, but from what I've read, SX OS never uses those.
I think it only burns the gc fuses if you use the slot, if you don’t use it then it should be ok on a downgrade, xci emulation shouldn’t be affected.

Atmos devs say it's when you boot. Specifically, the main system firmware, when booted, sends the gamecard firmware to the lotus chip (which will burn the fuse if needed). Unless disabled by nogc patches, which sx os apparently doesn't use.
