So it looks like my micro sdxc card is lost in the post so for the time being I need a temporary solution.

Can i just create my emuMCC and install all apps then use win32diskimager to transfer the contents without needing to recreate another emunand partition?

My switch suddenly started to lose signal over HDMI. TV screen would go black for few seconds, then back on again, after few times like this, it goes black and does not turn back on anymore. I tried different cables, hdmi inputs, it's all the same. Anyone had this?

a possible damaged HDMI port or dock (have a friend with a dock to try?)

Am I screwed? 8.1 Emunand Kosmos etc. Set up everything perfectly well but when I went to add my wifi and set 90dns I didn't notice airplane mode had "wifi" enabled by default and it took me like 1 second to fix it and yet I get an update nag when trying to launch anything so it somehow downloaded an update, I assume my switch is now compromised and will probably be banned even though the only thing Ive ran so far is the HBmenu holding R and NXDumper from there? And is there any way of getting rid of the nag?

Nag in question is "Ready to start system update.."

I read that you could change game region with atmosphere, is that true? also, if I have an American save, then change the European game to American via atmosphere, does that mean my save will work?

What is DZ and should I just dump those tinfoil to the root of my SD card? The Reinx guide said to only put nro files in the switch folder.

DZ is the application you downloaded already that is masquerading as "tinfoil". I linked the real Tinfoil.

As long as you have 29.1 GiB of unallocated space, you can make emuMMC and transfer the contents with win32diskimager.

Well bans are random so there is no guarantee you will or will not be banned. Worst case scenario is that you have been flagged. Bans can take time as some users have waited up to a year before they were banned. And in order to get rid of the nag, you have to boot into Maintenance Mode. Simply hold volume + and - when turning on the console to enter this mode. Simply entering this mode will remove the downloaded system update. Be sure to remove Wi-Fi settings or enable 90DNS/Airplane Mode before doing this otherwise the update will be downloaded again.

Yeah, gonna have to update my sysnand to 9.0 and keep an eye on if I get banned or not, gonna have to hope it's one of those new temp ones if that's the case. Don't mind losing cart usage in my 8.1 emunand from the fuses burning as I've already backed up all my carts, that's the only downside of updating sysnand to 9 right?

Cheers that worked, and against my better judgement due to the things i've seen, I installed incognito. Should at least stop any more potential slip ups by me. Here's hoping I don't get banned!

It did not specify if it was a game update, or system update. My question is, will it eventually force me to update to play game, even if I keep my system offline and in airplane mode? If you can play the game without updating it, it will not force you to update. However if you install a higher system firmware version or a game update for that title, it may force you to update your console.

I don't know why but I can't get the tinfoil mod to work anymore. It says that the install environment is corrupt. Yes, I only copied the tinfoil folder from tinfoil.io, replaced the tinfoil.nro with the tinfoilmod and put the mod_config.ini in the folder. This should work but it doesn't anymore.

yes, just reinstall your tinfoil mod and it should work.

i think ban is ok except the problem that i can't update my games.
as far as i know, sometimes games require update and if not, it cannot be played.
is there way to upgrade game not using Nintendo server?

Install the game update from an NSP file.

Hi guys,

Its the first time i want to updated my hack switch and i try to find a step by step to updated my hack switch from 8..0 to 9.0.

I have a modchip inside my switch so i dont need to do th jig part.

First i have to update my switch to 9.0 in normal mode ?
After that i have to update my custom firmware in custom firmware mode ???

Do i have to use All-in-One CFW Package to do my update ??

Sorry for all those question like i said its the first time i have to updated my switch.

At this moment my switch is on plane mode to not get banned but if i want to updated to 9.0 i have to go to my wi-fi to updated my officiel firmware ??

I am about to buy a switch that is not patched (According to some serial number check website). But it will have the latest updates from what i understand.

Will i still be able to run custom firmware on it? And if so, is there a guide that explains me how to do it?
