My initial setup was FAT32, but I could not transfer the new Zelda to it so I copied its contents to my hd, reformatted to exFat and then copied its original contents back to the now exFAT microSD card.

While in atmosphere I access the home-brew menu only to receive a message saying there is no applications to be found - mind you the properly placed switch folder and its contents are on my microSD card right now.

Switch back to FAT32 and not be able to load larger files such as the new Zelda?

Whats a guy to do - just want to play Zelda.

It turns out that the Switch is unable to access the microSD card.

How can I transfer larger files to the card if its FAT32?

Do exFAT microSD's not recognizable by the Switch?

If you want to use exFAT. You will need to "upgrade" your firmware to the same verion you have or can go newer. Using an app called ChoidujourNX, select the exFAT compatible option when updating.

I've retracted back to the FAT32 method.
