UPDATE:
This (and all other updaters) will no longer work on ams ver 0.15.0 or higher.
https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/commit/5b02c77400e8551199fefdbc36b1eb3ff86374dc

Hello!

I have made a simple and easy to use updater for Atmosphere / Hekate! :D

Currently the app can:
  • Update Atmosphere from the latest release on github.
  • Update hekate from the latest release on github.
  • Update this app from within the app itself!
  • Reboot to payload, for easy access to restart the switch after updating cfw.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask below.

For any bug reports, please open an issue on the github page, it'll be easier for me to track / fix.

I have several mods in my titles folder, isn’t any risk of deleting using your app? Thanks :)

Hi, The app does not delete anything, only overwrites files.

So say you have a bunch of folders inside your /atmosphere/titles/, the updater will only update the new files from the ams zip, leaving the rest of your files alone :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

does this include sig patches?
No, but i do have a seperate updater for that https://github.com/ITotalJustice/sigpatch-updater.

Wanted to keep sigpatches seperate from ams / hekate ;)

It appears to be grabbing the sigpatches from "patches.totaljustice.xyz".

Currently it's downloading a zip file that is exactly the same as the one in this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/i-heard-that-you-guys-need-some-sweet-patches-for-atmosphere.521164/

You can see this in the source code here: https://github.com/ITotalJustice/sigpatch-updater/blob/master/includes/download.h
That is correct. I wasn’t sure on the best way to handle keeping the latest sigpatches link static, so that I wouldn’t need to update the app each new release.

First idea was to parse the sigpatch gbatemp post for the attachments link.

The second idea was to use my domain to create a redirect to the patches link. This was useful because it meant I can easily update the link with a simple copy paste without needing to update the app. Downside is that it still manual, but it was the easiest to implement for now.

I will update the release to the first option that I listed, so that way the url is easier to read in the code also.

It can be anything, including that image with higher saturation and the edit icon.
It's actually from my theme (all apps screen specifically, also used as the main background for my Tinfoil theme). Notice the solid background and dark bars at the top and bottom.

I'm not mad or anything, it's just pretty interesting to see my stuff in the wild.

Yeah, but considering he gave two other people credit for icon designs in the README in the repo, the least he can do is give credit where credit is due.

Hey, isn't that background from my Atmosphere theme?
It very well might be yours! I have had this background for quite a long time, and when i decided to try using sdl for this app, i used this (your) background as a template. However i ended up building around it because i quite liked it, sadly I had no idea of the source of it, so i'm glad you found me!

If I am still okay to continue to use the background, can I credit you on the github repo for it?

Just drop my name somewhere in the readme, that's all.
