Apparently, you can't steal from the shop anymore despite showing it can be done at E3.....

You totally can. Go right up to the shopkeeper, slightly above and to the left, he should be looking diagonally up and left. Run around him to the right and down then across to the door. He's pretty fast at turning around so it might take a few attempts but I have successfully stolen from the shop this way.

How do you get it to install? Im on 9.0 and when I try to install the NSP I get an NCA error for low firmware on newest GoldLeaf.

Goldleaf 0.7.1 should fix this, otherwise just downgrade to firmware 8.1.0

Just hit 100%. The Dampe shack/dungeon builder is soooooo boring and lame, plus they hide hearts and seashells behind the "challenges"... mega lame.

I finally was able to but after like thirty minutes because I also grabbed the heart piece and bow. I always grab the shovel first.

Thats intentional, Like taking a photo of a car with a tilt shift to make it look like a toy :)

Still no exusing the piss poor slowdown though.

And these two quotes along with my experience playing this game so far is why I think Nintendo put the embargo on reviews for release day. They KNEW this game was not going to be good. But they knew that if people saw how piss poor it was, they would think twice about buying. They have a lot lined up for this game as it’s basically going to help sell the Switch Lite along with Dragon Quest XI. Grezzo should’ve just stuck with porting games rather than making them, IMHO. I hope the supposed HD Texture Pack and Day One Update fixes a lot of these issues....

Its not good enough though.. Imagine how badly they could screw up Pokemon/Animal crossing with choppy framerates.

Fingers crossed that this isnt a sign of things to come. Pitifully underpowered hardware may well end biting nintendont in the ass this time.

Overclocking (handheld) doesn't do anything to remove the stuttering/slowdown any time anything loads. This game seems really badly optimized/profiled, which is especially shocking given the fixed camera perspective and simple graphics.

All these people bitching about a very playable framerate yet no one bats an eye about the digital movement being controlled with the analog stick while the D-pad sits dormant.

The blur effect is just a texture, right? Could be patched out using some layeredFS stuff, I would hope.

Yeah, it's really weird for a big budget first party title by Nintendo. It almost seems like someones first Unreal Engine project or something :) .. The gameplay is good, but the game stutters way too much for the way it looks. I guess it could be fixed with a patch but it seems odd they didn't fix the stutters pre-release if that is the case.
