Like I said you can't as you need to load up hekate to load up something else. You can't go from emunand to sysnand directly.
I don't know how we keep missing each other. Let me try this.

1. Take a clean OFW and create a emunand with it.
2. Try to boot it using the 'stock' selection in Hekate (i.e. not using any CFW).

Have you done this?

I just download the most recent one. All the way at the bottom. Extract it to the the root of your SD card, overwrite any files it says and run retroarch from the homebrew launcher. I didn't really set anything up and ps1 works fine for me. I just select the ps1 emulator, then where it says select rom, I look for the ps1 game and just play it. Sorry if I haven't really helped you. This is just what I did...
Ah well, its telling me my retroarch is missing assets and to check in with the online updater but i can't even select anything on it. Thanks for your help though. Maybe I'll download another version (:

Weird. I know in retroarch there are options to download all the assets. Sadly, I'm not by my switch and I don't remember exactly where. Hopefully someone a lot more knowledgeable about retroarch will help, lol. Good luck.

Yea those work fine , I don't really use emunand on my cfw switches though, I only have one unit on emunand , booting stock just mean being on non cfw state.

how do I remove DLCs & update files installed with SX OS installer? The installation files themselves are removed, but where are the actual files that I installed that are now taking up spaces on the SDcard? When installing, I selected to install them onto the SD card.

Yeah, it still won't install any NSP files. Says firmware mismatch. Apparently it's a bug with the new Goldleaf and fw 9.0. Just gotta wait for an update. Thanks for the response!

I'm not sure if the appshop version is updated. I just got it directly from retroarch nightlies. http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/nintendo/switch/libnx/ Also, make sure you are accessing the homebrew launcher from a game, and not the gallery.

But we’re talking about in android. I am anyway lol.

my switch ran out of battery while using atmosphere. how badly did i screw up? please tell me i can just inject payload and its okay

what would be the disadvantages in a potential purchase of a used Unpatched Switch (low serial# verified only) that has already been updated to 9.0?

so the fuses would be burned to 9.0 so won't be able to boot below 9.0 via emuNAND or sysNAND(obviously)

as of now we seem to have support but there are unknowns about being hardstuck on 9.0?
No disadvantages. 9 will be completely supported soon.

well i got an error message when i opened up retroarch. the blueish screen with the codes on it

Can't help you with Retroarch I don't play retro on mine, hopefully someone else can help you with it, if you had autoRCM on it might take longer to charge.

Is autorcm something that allows me to go into atmosphere without injecting payload from my pc? Is there a program like that?
Also, does anybody use themes because I had to delete a customtheme i downloaded just to get back into atmosphere. Im tired of this bland background nintendo gave us. Its like they wanted us to jailbreak this

AutoRCM just put your switch into RCM mode automatically, you still needs a way to push the payload, like a payload dongle or a computer. Keep in mind AutoRCM is only for unpatched unit.
