thanks it works now. but i coulding reinstall the nsp main game hopefully a xci will work. before i clicked + then deleted the game . hoping i can get the base game to install again. im angry i deleted it. all i want is my bloodstained to have working cheats.

In the actual hacking state of switch, can i have a emunand, edit a save file from a cartridge (nothing illegal in the games), them switch to sysnand, play the game and go online?

Save is saved on the system, not the cart.

i want to update my switch and have all the games working i already have installed, please help.

my switch is currently on 7.0.1 firmware (ams 0.92)
i think its hekate or atmosphere the boot menu, im not sure - i use a dongle to boot the payloader.

i have tried updating in the past, but always mess up as i seem to miss files or the games dont run because the sd card needs fixing? (on the new releases of bootloader it doesn't let you fix the sd card? i can't remeber the term exactly, but on the old atmosphere bootloader option it lets you verify it and the games would work)


can someone please tell me where to start and what are the key files i need to update/replace and make sure i have on the root of my sd card?

and also what do i need on the dongle?

Update via ChoidujourNX using the correct update file, you can get it from that darth site, update with autorcm on.

3. Update to 8.1.0 using ChoiDujourNX.

Yes, don’t use exFAT with the switch.

The emuMMC partition can be unformated or FAT32. The sd partition should be FAT32.

Oh sorry, the EmuMMC partition was already FAT32. Should I just format that main partition to FAT32 and copy contents?

Hello all!

I got a new switch to use for online & legit purchases and I'll use my old switch for CFW and Homebrew. So far, I did some things. I want to transfer my save data using Nintendo Online AND keep the save data locally to my switch hacked switch as well. This is what I did so far:

1. Deleted internet config, turned on airplaned mode in clean switch
2. Loaded my sd card with atmosphere, put my switch in RCM and launched Hekate. Backed up my NAND BOOT0 BOOT1.
3. Launched atmosphere and saved my games to SD card using both Checkpoint and EdiZon.
4. Restored my NAND, turned off my switch, removed SD card
5. Turned on my switch, went online, confirmed my games were backed up with Nintendo Online to transfer to new switch, then deleted my user (unlink account from switch)

Now I have some questions:
Since the backup I currently have was made with my nintendo account linked to my switch, if I eventually restore my NAND again will my legit account "come back" to the hacked switch? Should I back up my NAND again without my legit account? Is my NAND still 100% clean even after launching CFW?

I was offline during the whole time when CFW was launched.

Sorry for too many questions! I'm very new to switch hacking. Thanks!
