it works 100%, though it might still differ from the official release, as I think they will tweak some stuffs here and there, hence the delay to release it rather than be included in the game right off the bat.did any1 play on maddening difficulty yet from start to finish? is it complete or stull buggy? cuz hard mode is a joke and is ruining my walktrough
Unfortunately I don't think Infernal is playable in its current state. I read that all maps either have only lv 99 units or no enemy units at all (thus preventing you from even completing it).@Blackmonster I went through and did the entire game, from start to finish on Maddening doing the Black Eagles. The only issues I had were related to save editing with the exception of two one-off crashes that occurred during month transitions, one between month 6 and month 7 whilst the other was post-timeskip.
In terms of difference in difficulty to Hard, it's not as prominent early on but it definitely ramps up and has it's glorious, good old Fire Emblem "prepare thy anus" moments where you get your plans absolutely ruined - but it's not as bad in this game since you can just Divine Pulse if you really want to.
I plan to do a Blue Lions run on Infernal now from start to finish and I can only imagine what the hell it'll throw at me.

it will NOT** differ from the official release..--(this is Official-Release) lol ... only way it would Change Any at all . they would have to Do another Update and or DLC-Patch**-(that's only way)..it works 100%, though it might still differ from the official release, as I think they will tweak some stuffs here and there, hence the delay to release it rather than be included in the game right off the bat.
From my point of view, the primary source of difficulty comes from
- the enemy level (often 6-7 levels above mine in the beginning), thus giving you the incentive to play as many optional battles as possible to grind your levels up;
- archer's poison stab. Enemy archers are now a huge problem that I always seek to take care of first.
- Same-turn reinforcement. This thing definitely forces you to use divine pulse from time to time.
- The enemies also got a huge bump in their stats. I notice that enemy named-AIs often have similar or even higher stats than my own units of the same class. For example in the mock battle of Eagle vs Lion, enemy Hubert was 20 points ahead of my own mage.
- The movable boss thing is a joke. Was looking forward to this but so far only the death knight moved and the other bosses still just stupidly wait idly for their death.

Again , what's included in the Game right now will not change Unless** they release another update of sorts and or DLC or Patch* only way it will Change anything..so should i go on playin maddening or w8 for the official lunatic release?
i am afraid that the 2 will differ from each other .
I see, I was hoping the official release could still tweak few more stuffs, but guess I will have to be happy with what we currently have. Hope they will instead complete the infernal difficulty then and not leave it in its current state.it will NOT** differ from the official release..--(this is Official-Release) lol ... only way it would Change Any at all . they would have to Do another Update and or DLC-Patch**-(that's only way)..
what's included in as of now, is Everything it Can Offer for them... Plus Don't Forget.. this isn't Made Completely By Nintendo like old Days- they was.. So they also now have to rely and work with the Co-Company in Terms of DLC and also Patches and updates for it..
This is An Offline Game By Default , not Online -( like a Multiplayer Client-Server -Online only Game)-(means it needs and have to play online -
whilst this game is and can be Completely offline.. otherwise u couldn't be using Editing and cheats codes like we do..)

There's a tool(s) being made at https://feuniverse.us/t/fe16-three-houses-tools/5986 which can be used to edit some of the stuff you've talked about, I'd say keep an eye on it.Is there gonna be a pool to edit the game itself? (enemy lv, stats, gear, skills, player growths, ect). i'm kind of rippin to make a 3 houses rom hack right now.
yes, the Waves-Contain* the Official updates**-( Soft/Hard-Updates).. then it WILL** Change accordingly .. not until then...Maddening as it is seems to be more or less complete, I don't see what they would necessarily change from it between now and the 'official' DLC for it and Infernal. As for Infernal, I'm about 90% sure what is in the game for it is just the groundwork / framework or whatever you wish to call it.
On the point about Maddening and Infernal having changes in general, pretty sure it's simple enough to do if they push an update (which they intend to do in order to actually add the difficulty modes the way they meant to) and as for when, I imagine it'll be within a month or two - likely alongside the second wave or in the second wave.

Thank you so much! However I noticed something when injecting with an empty character slot.here is a little updated list if characters. might include spoilers. fixed classes.
Includes:
- Correct Rhea (younger version is a male for some reason. so couldn't reclass into saint class. this one is the correct rhea with her class as well)
- Kronya (with her weapon and preffered class)
- Solon (with correct class)
- Thales (with own weapon and class)
- Death Knight (for some reason cant reclaass into his death knight* class)
- Anna (for some reason is classified as a male as well.)
- Nemesis (with correct class and weapon)
- removed the lords for causing problems
They do not have the correct stat lines yet and will be relatively weak if you are farther on.
Adding more details to it.Thank you so much! However I noticed something when injecting with an empty character slot.
1, I injected Jeralt to an empty slot, and he is always invisible in the map.
2, Also, I injected sothis to another empty slot, she works fine in battle, but from time to time (usually one week after a battle), she will disappear from the roster. After she disappeared, if I open the save file in my pc, her inventory slot will have nothing in the save editor.
Do you encounter these issues yourself? I want to know if it is a unique issue.
are you on part 1?..Adding more details to it.
1, I find that Sothis will disappear after ending a battle day. But Jeralt won't disappear.
2, After Sothis disappear, if I open the save file in save editor, it seems that Sothis's codes are all set to 0. She is now level 1, all her flags are unticked. Her inventory is empty.
3, I tried editing an existing character slot into Sothis (to isolate the problem from empty save slot), the issue still exists.
I need some info on adding & editing roaster in save editor. Im on BE route & planning to side with edelgard later on. Can i directly edit character that i cannot recruit in this route to join my party or should i add different file in the roaster list? If i directly edit them to join me, will the AI (these characters) that i fight later on will have the same stat, abilities like the one i directly edited?
