@simsimsim I've been playing on Maddening for a short while now, and so far its been a decent challenge (even without the use of stuff like +1 All Stats or Infinite Durability). I've not had any real standout issues like empty maps or lvl99 units, but I've not played through the entire game on Maddening yet - if stuff goes nuts then I'll probably post about it here.

As for when its coming out for us officially, I would presume as part of the free updates in a month or two.

Still holding up OK? I stopped playing and have been planning to start over when Maddening came out proper, but the wait is killing me, and I'm thinking about just playing through the 'Maddening' that's already technically in the game.

yes , it works for some of the Character(s) and or most of them .. i put it into the *.zip folder Archive**...

But as Falo Said , meaning There Kinda of Connected in Some way Can't *Remove/Add* - *Mov/Charm* Stat* without doing to other One..
After Lots of Test(s) I'm Pretty Sure This is the Case..
But the One i Did Make Below , Still Has Effect* on *Some Character(s)* and works around 50% and or Random Time(s).. Unfortunately this is *Hard-Coded* into Game
this Still Possibly Can be done By Code, But as i said Unless you Make a *Special Master-Code* and also *Patch-Code* with along usually the *Said-Code(s)- Then maybe go from there..

It works on MOV, because it's one of the Main Stats, actually serenesforest values are missing the MOV value, which is 0 in growth.

The cheat bypasses the RNG check and always adds +1 or +2 on the current calculated stat.
There is no special check for the MOV stat and since it's index 7 (Charm is 8), i can't just break the loop early without removing the Charm stat and there is not enough space to add an extra check.

Just change the support to what you want it to be. If you don't care about conversations and just want all S ranks, change the number to 1200. Otherwise, change it to the number corresponding to the next level. If you want the first conversation, change it to 100. The next rank, make it 300. It gives you the numbers in the editor itself.

awesome, thanks for letting me know! Just out of curiosity, if I use the cheat to change my hard playthrough into maddening, when I save the game, will it still display on the thumbnail that I'm on hard? Or does the game actually recognize that I'm on maddening and change the description?

@MagnesG That would be pretty ideal. I've been using the editor for other characters the same way I've done it for Byleth if I really want characters to build support, but having a code would be nice (if possible to do, although someone will likely find a way to do it soon-ish).

@AoiKunieda There's always the chance to get banned when using this sorta stuff if you go online with it, so if you want to be as safe as possible then just keep the switch in Airplane mode (even then there's no guarantee of being safe, just read up on a few Q&A's about using Homebrew on Switch)

Have been wondering for a while now , What does this Game -FETH* run better under in terms of Firmware/ micro-SD partition Format(s)- exFAT vs FAT32 partition(s)...
Mine is exFAT partition , so far, my game has Crashed few times here and there.. Been told to always stick with FAT32 ??, --
-- but if this is the case for this game to run better-(and not crash as often)- then maybe i should just reformat my micro-SD to FAT32 instead?.
emuMMC- AWS 7.0.1-(this is what i running game under)
and should i maybe get higher custom firmware as well.. or stick with 7.0.1 emuMMC??.

I've been using exFAT on a 256GB microSD, with a partition of FAT32 at 33GB (I've had a handful of crashes, although mostly due to editing the save files more than anything else). As for everything else, I'm running 8.1.0 with AMS 0.9.2 and had no real issues with them at all overall. I think the general consensus is that exFAT is fine but is less stable and more prone to crashes than FAT32, but I think either is fine - I have a second microSD with an exFAT partition primarily for test purposes and as a backup, I sometimes switch between the two depending on what I'm doing.
