Homebrew How to know if a DSi is hacked

Hi i bought a second hand DSi and i want to know if it is hacked. How can i check that?

1. If there's Sudoku and/or 4 Swords, and launching one attempts to boot "boot.nds" on the SD root.
2. If the DSi Menu screen has no sound.
3. If holding A+B brings up the Unlaunch menu.

Even if i don't have a SD card any of these steps should work?
