These keys are obtained through MSDN and MSDNAA, they are not allowed to be sold but people do it anyway since there is little risk and ms doesnt seem to care enough.
There are keys being sold however that were obtained with stolen credit cards and such that you should be weary of.

imo just save your money and use kmspico to activate it for free

  1. To buy Office 2019 Home and Student, it's going to be about $150 for a lifetime license.
  2. To buy Office 365, it's going to be about $70 a year.
  3. If you know what you're doing, you can KMS activate Office 2019 Professional Plus for free. I personally use a tool called OfficeRTool to download Office from Microsoft's servers and convert it to a volume license, and I use KMS_VL_ALL to activate it.
  4. You could use a free alternative, such as Google Apps.

it worked! thanks, man!

I bought one of these 4/5 years ago. One of these days I received a notification in my Onedrive that I'll loose access to my stuff in September.
Considering the price, I don't really care, I got my money's worth. Too bad I have quite a few pictures in OneDrive that I now need to backup.

what turned me off from going legit with ms office is how expensive it is. I mean $70/year. that's just outrageous.
