Cemu v1.15.10 released

cemulogo2-png.157415

Cemu, the well-known Wii U emulator, has received yet another update! Version 1.15.10 adds a brand new auto-updater (which only checks publicly available releases at the moment, Patreon exclusive versions will have to be downloaded manually), some optimizations and a way to automatically save native resolution screenshots to a folder instead of just copying them to the clipboard. Improvements have been made to the DS/SNES VC and a crash while booting Monster Hunter Frontier G has also been resolved, as well as other bug fixes and minor game-specific performance enhancements. You can read the official changelog below:

All these updates and BOTW still runs 20fps on my laptop smdh.

Updates wont help bad hardware. I would recommend going to the cemu reddit and post your specs and let them help u from there.

I know like 2 years ago when i tried to run botw it ran like shit. Just tried it again with the new update and im getting a perfect 60fps (Played for about 15 mins) So obviously the updates are working. (Took damn near 45 mins to set everything up though lol)

No amount of updates can pull off miracles on shitty hardware.

well then play it on your pc linked in your signature. should run well enough

I5-7300hq, gtx 10606gb and 8gb ram.
Thinking about upgrading to a better laptop soon but I am able to play bayonetta full speed but can never get botw to run past 20 in game.

BOTW is pretty much perfect. Also, focusing on BOTW was only good for the emulator in the short term so I'm glad he's stopped doing so.

an auto updater? thats really nice.
Will it keep the settings when it installs a new version? does anyone know?

The settings are stored in settings.bin and settings.xml, so yes, the settings you set typically carry over with each update. In rare cases settings will have to be reset due to a conflict, but it's rather rare. In either case, 95% of the settings remain the same despite improvements.

The updater asks if you would like to replace your gameProfiles (specific settings tailored to each game that are updated on occasion,) in which if you do replace them and you had tweaked them to your liking, you will need to re-apply your changes as necessary. Otherwise, well, you can avoid changing them but this isn't always recommended.

All these updates and BOTW still runs 20fps on my laptop smdh.

The fact that you're getting 20FPS tells me that you haven't set everything up correctly. 20FPS is the lower FPS lock that Breath of the Wild sets automatically, and since the internal code for the game does not recognize the hardware, it typically sets this on its own, permanently. Cemuhook and FPS++ were made in part to circumvent this issue.

To set up the emulator easily with the least amount of hassle, please visit my Recommended Settings section and the BotW GraphicPacks section of my guide:
