Just a quick question, what format are nintendo switch games/apps? Also does anyone have any info on Unity for Switch and/or how to install it and installing games on switch.

I have Unity for 3DS and install the dev cias on my Luma CFW N3ds and I'd prefer something more powerful.
Also Unity for PS Vita got leaked? I don't have one but still pretty interesting.
:switch:

Since I'm using Unity for Nintendo Switch almost every day, I can say the format is xci.
There's no way to install these on retail consoles yet, tho.

I'm pretty sure there isn't, but is there a way for some little tiny insignificant dev like myself to get their hands on the plugin/editor for Unity to compile to .xci without having to be approved by Nintendo?

Do you think you can help me get unity for Switch so if I can afford a devkit I can install it?

Hello everyone

could anyone tell me where I should find Unity3D for the switch ??? and how to succeed the approval coup ???

is there another methote to find it ???

And thank you in advance

I applied for it once, but they requested I sent them a preview of the game for approval before allowing me to get either a DevKit or the Unity Module.

Is this still the case?

You have to send them a build of a game, doesn’t matter what platform it was developed for. If they like it they’ll give you access to SDK tools and development hardware, which you can then use to port the game to Switch

thank you for the advance

I made a request for approval for the switch since last April me at this address and I re-apply almost a me and I sent a video capture of my game may I have acune a repence ???

I send a video of the game is what I have to send my game ??? to be approved ??? and what is the time I have to wait ???

is there another faster method ???

Last edited by lyokohack,
You need to send WORKING GAME. Not video, not screenshot. You asked it before, people wrote the same to you and you still think you can avoid it?
Just deal with it.

thank you for your help so should I send

1-my build .exe

2- video capture when I devlope my games

3- the assets of the model3D the scripts

what is the maximum time that I have to wait ???
