Hey folks, attached are hexworkshop Bookmarks for the PZD portion of the game for chips, eggs and relic+runes. Also includes separate bookmark files for all english items and eggs. These bookmarks were extracted by comparing the offsets edited by the editor to non edited files and will have the same effect as using the editor to grant all used items/eggs/chips but let you pick which ones you want as well as quantity(great for relics).
@DaBlackDeath
The offset 0x000080A0 is edited by the editor for chips, but doesn't seem to do anything.
I know it's years later, but I really wanted to thank you for posting this. I finally got back into the game recently for it to come to my attention that I was missing a bunch of relics that are no longer possible to obtain legitimately. The idea of missing out on them bothered me since I'd like to be able to 100% the game. I'd been looking for a way to add the missing relics without affecting any other aspects of the game, so these resources really came in handy.
Hello, I'm sure this thread is either closed or not dicussed but is it possible to use such editors or make one universal for entire complied list of 3DS games for either emulation or actual 3ds console...
Well, here is something for the puzzle friends
I created two seperate Editors. You might wonder why I don't have any Sprites/Icons in P&D Z Editor. Simple answer is: a) I cannot rip sprites from 3DS by myself and b) over 158 items so far.
This would be too much for a little SGE.
However, my SGE's are just for fun and not 100% free of errors, so feel free to test and as always: Make a BACKUP of your savegames.
Oh well, Puzzle & Dragon Z Editor is 90% done. For now, I didn't include the items from first item tab.
I will do this whenever I got some time or I'm in mood for
:edit:
It seems Puzzle & Dragon Z stores values way more weird in savegame.
I found new items and eggs. atm: 30 items, 5 eggs and 20 special eggs.
Updated version will come asap. It's just a pita to find values and offsets.
:edit 2:
Done. Finally I found all (hope so) offsets for
16 Eggs + 181 Special Eggs (incl. Legendary and Santa / Birthday Dragon)
90 Items + 14 unused / japanese
70 Chips + 8 unused / japanese
Now Puzzle & Dragons Z Editor is complete also.
Link updated...
:edit 3:
new version will be uploaded soon *sighs* never seen such weird data storing before
No more ???-Eggs / mixed with japanese ones.
Found the offset for unlocking ??? names.
This one will be the final then *fingers crossed*...
:edit 4:
yay, NOW I'm done...
All Eggs are named and no more "??? - Egg" labeled.
Unused/Japanese items are now all seperated and no more mixed.
So, I can say: I'm done with this. This one was something weird
Enjoy
After the v2.0 Update the save location and save file for SMB Edition has changed.
Dragons Z Save Editor is still working with update but for SMB Edition you need the V2 Editor.
The new location of SMB Edtions Save is now: ExtData\00001378\PuzDraZ\Save\
There should be 2 files. (B525403898828 & M525403898828)
* maybe you will have different filenames but one is starting with 'B' and one with 'M'
Run V2 Editor -> open M525403898828 -> edit values -> save M525403898828 -> transfer back to 3DS and enjoy
Just downloaded these. Do these work with the NA edition? And what file format should the saves be in? I've been working with all.dat files via checkpoint.
