Hacking Question Atmosphere / Reinx stays black

Hello Guys,

i upgraded my SD from a Samsung 128gb to Samsung Evo Plus 256Gb.
I formatted the sd first 32 and coppied all my files from my old sd to the new.
Screen stayed black. After that i changed to exfat. (Installed the driver mannually on 3.0.2 (my switch was never online) for my 128gb sdcard.. never had issues after that..)
I Tested sxOS and it worked. Reinx stays also black.
My switch is in auto rcm and on 6.0

Would be nice if someone could help.

Forgot to say : Atmosphere and reinx are fresh from SD setup. and i use the sxos dongle to load boot.dat and the payloads

You should just something like Hekate to load them or straight up load them directly not through SX OS bootloader.

There is a boot.dat for the sx gear to load the payloads directly without sxos. Worked before but i can try to load hekate over the pc instead. I dont think this is the issue but i try

Im not sure if they work chainloading with SX OS bootloader, it boot if you boot them directly, atmosphere use it own bootloader fusee primary, and ReiNX can be picky for it to boot, I gotten black screen for it before also, it is kinda vary with ReiNX.

the boot.dat starts the payload in the root named payload.bin

hekate works through pc and sx gear boot.dat so it is an option for me

do you have any idea why fusee primary does not work?

Has to do with SX OS bootloader, there not much you can do since SX OS is close source, you can always use Hekate to load SX OS, and Atmosphere.

sx gear should not be the reason. i tryed it with the pc too and got black screen.

"SX Gear users will need to copy the following boot.dat file to their microSD card.
Any third party payload can then be put on the microSD card as payload.bin to use it!"
The sx gear should be only a forwarder to the payload bin.

and it worked before i switched to the new sd card and updated atmosphere

Long term wise you should convert back to FAT32, as exFAT is corruption prone, as for sept's payload.bin, atmosphere has it own, with ReiNX you have to use it own build or you would get black screen, I been using Hekate to load SX OS on one unit and two with Atmosphere they boot fine, I did get black screen with newer version of ReiNX I had to unplugged my battery with the one that gave me the issue, I really think that it has to do with chainloading and the wrong file combination, atmosphere sept and reiNX file won't boot in my case.

I thought SXOS couldn't load fusee-primary as a payload because they blocked it or something?

Try looking into Argon NX and going SXOS > Argon NX > Atmosphere/ReiNX
