Hi Guys.

So i've bought a modded xbox 360 from Customboxes.com (rgh) and I'm wondering if the Kinect will work out of the box with this? I don't know which kernel version yet, but this guy seems to update it all to the latest.

Questions:

1. Does it require to be online if I want to play i Kinect game?
2. Do I need to do anything specific to get the Kinect working or can I just plug it in?

I won't do anything until I hear back from you pro's :-)

You can just plug it in, FSD even recognizes the Kinect and has gesture control on its dash.
I believe Aurora should be the same.

Online isn't required, Kinect compatible/Kinect only games are.

Okay so If I download the Kinectimals (RF) iso, it has to go online / will not work ?

If that's the case, I don't see the need for the Kinect.

Kinectimals isn't an online game.
I've played it, works fine.

I know this, but when you write:

"Online isn't required, Kinect compatible/Kinect only games are."

I read that online is required with kinect games. If not, what does this sentence mean?

When I got a new 360, I had to install an update from a flash drive for the kinect to be usable. I just updated my dashboard to the latest using some flash tool and then installed the other update for the kinect. Just make sure that the dashboard you flashed and then kinect update match or else you'll end up with a dead 360 that needs flashing

Yup, you can boot into the MS dash by going into the NAND in your file manager.
Should be dash.xex.

Okay so I got it booted up and all, Kinect is connected, BUT.. I put Conkers live and reloaded on a Fat32 hard drive, moved it over, got the xbox to see the game.. but can't start it.. Says its not supported on xbox 360.. :/ I have an Iso version of it but it's 7,2gb, which can't be put on the external drive, since its, fat32.. What do I doo???

Extract the Xbox ISO with Qwix, copy it to the console HDD.
That should work, I been playing Conker R&L like that for years haha.

Okay But the ISO I have is formatted like a DVD..

With folders

Audio_ts
Video_ts

So this won't work right?

Xbox image browser to extract ISOS for both xbox and 360

iso2god for 360 games to make god format games

For xbox classic on 360 get the hacked compatibility files
