Ok so in the new version, what options should be picked for adding updates to the base game?
2. like if you were doing a multi. Then it has options to save lists if you want to process them later and one that separates the ids in different xci files when processing but it always will choose the more recent update.

Hi,

All my build XCI are showing version 1.0, how could I change it to the correct version update?

strange I got some XCI from other source showing version of the game, but don't know how there was build

Well the order of the nca files currently is set by the order you add the content and each content by the cnmt file. So if SX OS is stopping the search after the first control nca there could be that issue. Also the legacy mode has the ability of set a control nca in the normal partition to force that.
I could go and add the code to set same control nca from the version I have in the name in the normal partition. That takes priority in their gallery, it's something I used before to forced custom logos and names there.
I was planning to test that since I think it'll also make image loading\scrapping faster.

hi mate,
i'm having a strange problem.

When splitting a game for fat32, one of the parts is being made too large to go onto the card.

as you can see on the attached image.
the second part XC1 is is 32kb too large.

I have split the file 3 times now and it does the same each time.

just wondering, can you fix an older xci that was made with nsp included, ist that those are not booting for me in 8.xx
what do you mean? It booted before but not now? It's probably the installation issue after updating, if fixes archiving the program and loading the xci again.
I could implement a way to fix them when is due to a new encription generated badly by feeding it the original titlekey and keygeneration number but i think you don't mean that.

builder is failing when trying to convert The Last Remnant.nsp into a Split XCI.

I'm using the current version of NSCB v086cx64

According to your description I bet is due to Stealth Mode. Normally that's solvable by starting the game on airplane mode, there are several games that have this issue.
It seems like the console detects a connection and crash when it can't connect to the Nintendo server due to stealth, 90DNS,...

That seems like a huge bug. Since I have my Switches connected together via Ethernet, it wouldn't be feasible to take take these steps every time because someone else in the house would probably at some point make a mistake, so I guess some titles just cannot be safely converted at this time.

Finally I saw it written !

I always wondered why ?! I first start creating a new profile, and switch it everytime for those games (NEOGEO Arcade's ....)
Then I figure it out with airplane mode.

I know this isn't the place to ask, but if someone could find a way to patch/skip/avoid this, it will be awesome (even if it's not that hard to put it in airplane)

I agree. Especially since the NSP works without having to talk to call Nintendo there shouldn't be a problem as an XCI.
