It looks like a decent feature indeed, but I'll probably just stick to Qlaunch on Atmosphere. Custom themes haven't really been that big of a deal for me other than to show off to friends, which is something Qlaunch accomplishes nicely. Still, it wouldn't be too surprising if some Atmosphere users started to switch over just for this.

Yeah good luck using that on the proper releases

Wicked work Rei, and why not do it if people really want to whine and complain that much

I get that to you, it would be quite funny to write true DRM into a program(s) just to spite those who whine about it. (especially when it's as unnecessary as it is now) Truthfully however, it's a pointless waste of time. After-all, this will only prove to make those individuals, feel justified in their hate, rather then feel foolish as they ultimately should IMO.

I suggest Rei keep to improving on features, and bug fixes. Over paying mind to these clearly idiotic commenters, who ultimately don't have a say in anything with anyones' project, but their own at the end of the day.

Dude, Rei knows I wouldn't be serious about that, but, at the end of the day it's up to Rei what Rei does. All things considering, I'm happy Rei still decided to release this.

edit: For what it's worth I'm one of his testers as well as tech support on his discord

This looks great, Rei! I don’t currently own a switch but this looks really nice and convenient!

I suppose that's fair enough, also I'm happy too. I've been hype for this release ever since Rei released the teaser awhile back. it's a shame the supposed source leak happened, and seemingly rushed an official release, but I have faith in Rei's choice of direction with the project after-all it's looking next level as far as feature sets are concerned for a CFW.

awaiting the theme template

make folder called themes on root of sd
create a theme with folder name inside that i.e miku
place .png images in there
in the themes folder make a .cfg called whatever you made the folder i.e miku.cfg

then edit it according to this theme config

for example layout
sd:\themes\miku\mikulock.png
sd:\themes\miku\miku.png
sd:\themes\miku.cfg

miku.cfg layout
Code:
[Config]
defaultSelCol=1
lockscreen_image=mikulock.png
[Background]
layer0=miku.png

As someone who talked to Rei about it, and watched it develop (with title loading and stuff), he told me the DRM is for the people who think that ReiNX is copied from Atmo, and from what I've heard online, deltalaunches homebrew button won't work on other CFW's (can't confirm that tho)

(and yes, I know I'm a troll, but this a serious post for once)

Update:
Added the repo to front page where you just download from there and dump on the SD

Changes:
- Added sound!
- Added a few more options (they arent fully working yet so ignore)
- Lock icon is optional for themes
- Tons of refactor/bug fixes/stabilityTM
- Message box + reboot on sd removal
- New config options:
Code:
[Config]
lock_icon

[Sound]
sfx_bgm
sfx_navigate
sfx_activate
sfx_back
sfx_error
bgm_vol

So I ended up rewriting the logic for rendering titles which helped fix some issues and also made folder support more feasible.. still thinking on if i should do it the 3ds way, but either way.. i can create folders cleanly now lol..

I'm open to ideas and feedback btw.

Nice to see progress in the folders. Are we able to rearrange stuff inside folder or create nested folders??

nothing fancy yet.. so far folders can save game objects so at best i can make a popup that displays the titles inside.. and that being said nest folders should be possible as a side effect of that.
I managed to put a folder inside of itself and the universe didnt implode so thats a good sign lmao. Stopping antics like that might be difficult.

Awesome work. Going to start dual booting ReiNX and Atmos just for this.

Still blows my mind that N hasn't implemented folders, theming, etc; N treats these features like they're trivial but it's not 2005, for crying out loud. Throw us a bone. My wife's Switch has over 30 titles on it and navigation is a pain.

I hacked my Switch to get the features that should have been included in Horizon in the first place. N shot themselves in the foot, if they are limiting the OS to reduce the chances of hacking. To me, that only made hacking more appetizing .
