Thanks for the guides. So I was looking for those xci/nsp site like you suggested. 1 site uses torrent downloads and uses a slower method like uploader.com to download directly from but could take hours. I'm still looking for other sites with a faster download method. Have not checked out HBG yet but will soon. After finding games I want they may ask for Updates and some have DLC so my question now is how is that handled and do i need to find a site that has all game+update+dlc. (Example - BOTW I know for sure it has 3 DLC and needs game updates to run because of the Wii u version did).

Is there a guide for decrypting and injecting my own saves or other saves to and from the switch.

What's the biggest SD card I can use for the switch safely without it crashing.

Kinda of vary, some people use 1fichier, where you need to get a premium account if you want to download at a faster speed, or there is zippy share with jdownloader2. For switch game I have been mostly using 1fichier.

As for sd card size, largest right now is 512gb. Save wise, use checkpoint.

no ignore button, just uninstall or quit. why are we the users caught up in some petty disagreement?
Its a bit more complicated than a simple disagreement. See, blawar/vertigo aka the main and only developer behind DZ (or "Tinfoil" for the less fortunate) requires ACID patches for his tool. The reason being is not for additional piracy support, you can just install everything without ACID patches both .NSP and .XCI format. He requires ACID patches so the .XCI files are installed faster. However you cannot load external FS patches such as the ACID patches through Hekate and conversely Kosmos. AtlasNX, the team behind Kosmos, won't fork Hekate to add ACID patch support as it is not necessary from a pirate's perspective. On the other hand, there are alternative CFW that either have built-in ACID patches (ReiNX/SX OS) or can read external FS patches (stock Atmosphere).

If your question is why can't everyone get along, the entire scene is like this. EdiZon actually features a warning if you load it from SX OS which is where blawar/vertigo got the inspiration to include his warning. The Switch community is split between hating and supporting TX. Even ReiNX users/supporters don't get along with people who support Atmosphere because they just call it a clone or something else derogatory without understanding what they're saying. This isn't even scratching the surface when it comes to the closed vs. open source debates. Personally, I can live without DZ since there are multiple title installers for the Switch but for others, they just gave up an entire CFW package just so they could use one measly app.

is there any characteristic I should look for in large sd cards? is any brand, size, speed, etc not supported? is there any recommendation?

do I need patches to install nsp on kosmos? I still have not installed anything except home brew games, because there's quite a lot to read and learn in switch scene DX

You will need patches for nsps.

Stealth mode blocks all communication with Nintendo if I remember correctly.

If you don’t wanna get banned don’t use sx os.
Ok. So, i have to play Nes online games, first must to disable stealth mode and then try to connect/link my nintendo account, and after that disconnect from net, enable stealth mode and flight mode. Am i correct? Can i do that with xs os 2.71 and 8.01?

If you do that, you will be probably banned.

1- Buy any card (I'd recommend 128 GB or more) and make sure that the card is not a fake with H2testw. That's it.

The Switch should support the latest 1TB cards, but I've heard it has a cap on speed. Not sure what that is.

2- Yes, you do. Take them from here.

Hi all,
My switch is currently running ReiNX on 5.1.0 (got it 2 weeks after OFW 5.1.0 released).
I can't seem to get the new FF7 to run, it just stuck at boot up.

Could this be from my old switch firmware that is not catching up already?

Can anyone guide me on how to upgrade?

I myself is also not really catching up to the scene

Don't bother with 1fichier, it's absolute cancer. There are a lot of sites that link to Google Drive hosted files. Those are top notch. Convenient, fast, not full of spammy ads that try to get you to install viruses...

Don't get cheap cards off of ebay. They are fake. They will appear to be the advertised size, but will error out at some point, wasting your time and losing your data. I typically get Samsung. Sandisk is good as well. With where prices are now, I would get a 256gb card. I have a 128gb that I got when cards were more expensive and I have to delete a game every time I want to add a new one. I'm using emunand though, so that takes up 30gb worth of space on the card.

Still better than opening a bunch of 500MB Files, when you can click on one link and download 30GB within 30 minutes.

I recommend updating our firmware without burning fuses with the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX. Not burning fuses allows you to retain the ability to downgrade in case better exploits are released on lower firmware versions such as a theoretical untethered coldboot hack.

Is there any easy way to transfer saves from emunand to clean sysnand?
There is nothing easier than homebrew.

There is no payload nor CFW that can extract save data. What do you want me to tell you? About some non-existent tool that does what you want? You either use homebrew or restart your save data.
I'm not sure, but I think he meant to look for a tool that could transfer his save data to his sysnand, like trasnfering to an unhacked Switch. I don't know the answer to that, cause I don't use emunand myself and don't know how exactly it works. But since he can't open homebrews with a clean sysnand, maybe he could transfer it to the internal memory using something like NX-Shell from the Emunand? Or maybe checkpoint is able to do this transfer?

Both of the things you just listed are homebrew applications...

This.
If it can't be done, it can't be done. But, that is why I am asking. I'm not demanding a way, I just want to know if I can.

I know, but he didn't say he doesn't want to use hombrews, he just want to know an easy method to do it, since he can't use homebrews in a clean sysnand. I believe that if there's a way to do it from the Emunand, even if using homebrews, would answer his question.

This.

Take a look with Checkpoint or NX Shell if you can find a save folder in the internal storage. You might be able to transfer your save files this way. But I can't tell for sure cause, as I said, I don't use Emunand, and I also am not with my Switch right no so I can't check the internal memory file system.

Edit: Since, as far as I know, Emunand is stored in your SD Card, I suppose that if there's an specific folder for save files in the internal memory, it might be from sysnand. But again, I am just supposing.
