Hardware Fat PS3 Ylod repair!?

Hi guys i have 160gb fat PS3 that been reballed afew years ago due to ylod and it's get ylod again unfortunately the question is it worth repairing again or there's simply no way to permanently fix the ylod Ps3? Thanks for the reply any advice appreciated

try to buy hackble slim or find someone is the best who can do reballing with also delid

try the NEC/Tokin capacitors replacement.

Facebook marketplace has tons of PS3’s for sale. Just get a fat, open it up, clean it, replace the thermal paste, and enjoy. You might want to increase the HDD size if you plan on hacking it.

I bought mine a year ago on amazon for $60. Try that or reballing (but this may not work so it's up to you)

It's probably the NEC/TOKIN proadilizer capacitors that have gone bad. You can try replacing them with tantalum capacitors: https://www.psx-place.com/threads/tutorial-nec-tokin-capacitors-replacement-ylod-fix.25260
