I think OTG adapters are only working in one way. It's USB-C -> USB-A and not the other way. Have you tried with a micro-USB -> USB-A OTG adapter and then a USB-A to USB-C cable ?

No. I don't have access to these adapters as freely as other regions might. I haven't seen any OTG cables or adapters at all in stores. I'm still waiting for the USB A -> Micro to arrive. One-way would make sense.

EDIT:
I can confirm that the OTG has to be in the right direction.

Well there we go then. :) Thanks for the help, everyone.

Hey, I've started having a problem since I updated my galaxy s8 to android 9.
I had used nxloader before with the same phone and cable but now when I try to send the payload I get this error: "Sending payload failed at offset 65536".
I can send the payload using my pc with the same cable.

Is there any way to fix it? I would love being able to use my phone to send payloads again since it's much easier.

Thanks beforehand.

Works only with my USB-C/USB-C cable. My USB-C/USB-A (with OTG adaptor) cable from my galaxy note 8 doesn't work.

Hello guys, I am thinking on one small change in functionality of payload's storage. Currently all payloads been saved in /sdcard/Rekado storage, it is public and gives opportunity to manually add payloads there, but if you will delete application this folder will not be deleted. I have idea to move it in private storage of application, then users will not have access to it, and will have ability to add payloads only from application, but after application deleting it will free up space of payloads too. What do you think?

I have idea for this app. add payload downloader/updater.

I am android programmer and have experience in Kotlin.
I forked your app.

If you have some time to work on it I will include this in main app.

I did got the download function working.

I do not like idea of private storage by app.

Best to leave storage as it is.

Hey.

So I've been trying to get to hekate on my switch by using my Galaxy S6 since I do not have access to a PC atm, and there is one problem I seem to be having. I put the switch into rcm mode, open rekado and selecting the hekate payload, then connect my switch to the phone, after I do that nothing happens. I know something is supposed to pop up after I connect my switch to the phone, but idk if it's the OTG cable that I have or the S6 just doesn't recognize my switch at all. The S6 does support OTG, but then again idk why I seem to be having trouble getting access to hekate...

(Here is an image of what I'm dealing with.)

You have to enable otg on your phone. On my oneplus I can do it from the drop down menu when you drag down where notifications are

I'm using an S6 Edge+ with default firmware and rooted. Same thing: my device doesn't even recognize the switch. I know my OTB A to B works for other USB devices (headphones or storage), but connecting a USB C cable doesn't work. FYI, the USB C cable is the same one I use to push Hekate from my PC.
