Got the PowerA wired gamecube style controller for Switch and seeing it's USB I would love to use it for Nintendont on my softmodded Wii.

I had a lot of work and could not try this sooner but the PowerA USB GameCube controllers made for Switch don't work on Nintendon't. Hoping someone who know how to add controllers to it can add them.

Try hidtest? Make sure there is no controller.ini on the root of your sd or usb. Connect the controller after starting the app, and move some buttons and sticks, if the values change, pm me

Yes, it does work quite well. A slight issue is, since the triggers aren't analog, some games (namely Mario Sunshine) are way harder to play/unbeatable.
Thnx. I believe that press L1 and R2 at The same time emulates The R2 half pressed. (TAlking based on PlayStation controller to do not have mistake sincer some GC controllers for Switch change ZL/ZR)

I don't know how to do that sadly, and also don't know how to make one of the not used buttons exit the game.
I need an update for this controller ini because it doesnt have analog triggers support.
The controller itself doesn't have analog triggers, they feel analog just for show and be like an authentic GameCube controller.

I know that the Power A Gamecube Controller doesnt have analog support.

I'm not a gamer much, but my gf likes Wind Waker, would the PowerA controller not being analog cause any issues with Wind Waker? I want this to go as smooth as possible..

It shouldn’t cause problems. I don’t remember that game using the analog feature.
