Does WiiFlow Lite or USB Loader GX supports loading games over SMB? It would be really useful, since it means I won't need to have my USB plugged in all the time, and modifications won't require me to unplug it.
I once streamed a ISO through wifi in a PS2 at 54Mbps with no lag. I believe the bandwith would suffice since Wii games and PS2 are not that different. And I agree, it would probably conflict online gaming but should be enough for single/multiplayer in the same console. Most homebrews have a SMB support, but USB loaders don't.no, it's not the loader's fault, but the cIOS is not coded to get data over SMB.
even if cIOS would allow it (it would need network always enabled, not sure it would conflict with game's own network access), I think it will not have necessary bandwidth.
over wifi it would be too slow, the wifi is locked to a specific speed.
over LAN, I'm not sure but I think the speed is limited to same wifi speed. but I can't confirm, I don't have one and never tested. in fact, very few people have one.

Hello and sorry for overreading your question.@alexander1970 Can you explain how you made a SMB Share server? I want to make one for SNES9X but IDK how.
For that i don´t know.sorry.What if I don't have a password on my user account, would it still work?
