You're proving to me that you're severely lacking in this department. It seems like you're ignoring everything I've said because of this false confidence you have in an ability you have none of. Common sense denotes that you should keep your OS as up to date as possible. Again, someone can remotely (IE, not on your network) attack an unpatched system provided an exploit is found, and I have a good hunch there's some fun ones in 7 considering that it's still the mostly used Windows version. It dominates 48% of the Windows install base. A person also doesn't need to be on your Wi-Fi to hack you, but they can get you along with anyone and anything else connected to it through your insecure OS. Just like with video game consoles, hackers wait for an OS to fall out of support to release the good stuff. This is the stuff that disregards your antivirus, firewall, and "common sense". Don't like 10? Install Linux. You'll have a better time.common sense
