Are there any cheap third-party PSP batteries that are reliable? I don't really care about the size I'm just looking for the cheapest reliable battery that won't catch on fire.

I've had one since 2008 that still works and holds a decent charge, so I would say yes.

Depending on display brightness/WiFi 6-8 hours at once with a PSP-1004.

And it not catches fire until today.

Ya know I've bought two of the cheap 3.6v batteries off ebay, had them for 4 years now, no problems ever.

I see Tomee making PSP batteries now...I have a good controller of theirs, so I'd buy a battery from them.

It's a bit too broad a question really. 3rd party could mean batteries from any number of suppliers. Some could be great and some a fire hazard waiting to happen.
