i think its no real entrypoint i mean
we have the RCM hax for unpatched
and patched consoles cant download it because it was removed in all regions from the eShop
but if we can crack the patched switch and install it on it
i guess yea but the sandboxing must be removed
but i guess when we can run on patched switches this game through what ever i guess we could run directly unsigned code

Every code exec may become an entrypoint if you find bugs in the upper layers.
This would have been perfect if a bug would have surfaced in the interpreter.

7$ to gain homebrew reminds me of dsiware.
Very sad, everyone with a patched and updated switch should hold on to this game. If the dev hacked an interpreter in, a bug is possible.

I just have to facepalm every time I see a post from you.
OF CAUSE this is not an entrypoint, yet. I never claimed it to be. I said some day it could become one.

Never heard of a "sandbox escape"? A sandbox is not without fail.
An "unrestricted" scripting environment is more than anyone could wish for on a patched unit.

I also never said the developer of the game hacked anything. I said he hacked the interpreter in (, meaning its not an obvious, straight forward part of the game, but hidden) and as such it most likely is of lower quality than the rest of the code he wrote. With this it is very likely that he has made some mistakes that could be leveraged to gain code exec in the sandbox and perform a sandbox escape.

Please try harder when reading posts of others you want to complain about.

Ooh, I remember playing this game back in the day. It's actually pretty fun and a good time waster. Too bad it got pulled :/
I mean, there are way better games to play on the Switch, and the web based version is free, so I guess it's no big loss...

Anyone who bought it, if you delete it can you still re-download it from the Re-download page?

It can still be redownloaded by those who have in fact purchased it. (I have a secondary switch which I did the testing on, so as to not risk my only copy of the game.)

That means it is still on their servers...
I wonder if we can force the eshop to buy it, maybe when they put it back online, so that we can get the unpatched version... Ahh, good old 3ds times :P where you only needed to run an homebrew to download the old version of ironfall invasion ...

No way to force purchase the game sadly. Even using a secondary switch, that has access to the game, normally, you can purchase games owned by a secondary account onto your own account, however, the eshop entry page says "Not available for purchase", if you do somehow manage to get a given account onto the games eshop page, and that account does not own it.
