Hacking FBI is not giving me the option to install the CIA files

I'm also still having this issue and it hasn't been resolved.

You're either:

• using userland homebrew only (FBI won't be able to install anything)
• or you have file extensions turned off so you don't notice that you're trying to install file.cia.zip etc
• Or you used the SD card in a Mac and you're trying to install one of the hidden files that Macs annoyingly create (if the file name starts with a dot this is the issue)
• Or the file is corrupted (try formatting your card as FAT32 and download the file again and copy it on again) - an indication this is the case is if FBI says it is a lot smaller than it should be, eg it should be 500MB and FBI says it's a 5kb file)
• Or your SD card is not working (use H2testw to check)

Make sure everything is up to date and reinstall FBI or try using FBI from HBL. If this doesn't work, back up your saves, format your 3DS and SD card, then reinstall everything. And if even THAT doesn't work, then what you need to do next is throw your 3DS in the trash and buy a new one.... jk, there's actually another app to install CIA but I can't recall the name of it at the moment.
