As the temp is aware 8.0 just dropped for the switch.
After updating here are some things that I can confirm
I didn't test if autorcm bricked the console or not.
EDIT/UPDATE
Update 2:
Video of me updating from 7.0.1 to 8.0 officially then showing fuse count at end.
For more information see this thread
After updating here are some things that I can confirm
- You can still boot into RCM
- CFW IS NOT WORKING
- In RCM you can still send hekate and memloader (meaning you can restore backups or manually downgrade)
- 8.0 has 9 burnt fuses, the same as 7.x
I didn't test if autorcm bricked the console or not.
EDIT/UPDATE
Also, a big warning: If you are on a unit which has the RCM bug (fusee gelee) patched, and start playing with Atmosphere using Deja Vu: *do not install AutoRCM*. This will brick your unit, and you will need to use hardware to fix corrupted the BOOT0 partition.

If you got an iPatched unit and run a software hack, that enables AutoRCM. You are bricked!
If you got an unPatched unit and run a software hack, that enables AutoRCM. You are fine!
