Yeap i accidentally updated mine. Good thing emunand still works. Though i lost the chance of deja vu.
WAIT so even on 7.0.1 we are gonna get DEJA VU? (Don't know what it means but it seems important :v)

Question, if the burning fuses count is the same as 7.X cant you just downgrade?

Deja Vu is a warmboot exploit.
It will allow folks to run custom firmware on ipatched units.

Warmboot, just like Wii U has (clicking an icon on the screen will be enough to "enable" custom firmware ala HAXCHI?)

EDIT: If it works this way, its definitively better than doing that stupid RCM we do now... xD

It relies on the web browser as an entry-point.

It'll be more similar to how folks used to launch the web browser on the WiiU and then launch a hosted payload for the homebrew menu.

is it safe for non patched units or is this "the end"?
Non-patched units are fine.

Obviously don't update to 8.0.0 until Atmosphere supports it though.

So if I read correctly deja vu will eventually come out now for switch’s 7.x and below since it’s patched on 8.0. Also not 100% sure but since deja vu will be on 7.x and below does that mean basically every switch can get cfw now as long as it’s on 7.x and below.

For the time being it won’t matter if someone buys a patched switch as long as they don’t update. Still wonder though if it’s wise for them to release deja vu before the new switch’s come out even though it got patched on the current switch. Obviously the new ones will be patched but it will be funny if they are already made with the 7.x firmware on them.
