I have a problem booting the game. I get this error, "Hunk data failed to allocate 128 megs" and I am using my N3DS with this.

EDIT: Maybe it's because I copied the files from my Vita into "baseq3". I am gonna try again with the vanilla file from the download link. I am trying to send the full game to the system.

I extracted data.zip to the SD root (which creates the root directory ioq3).
I installed ioQuake3DS.cia
When I run it, I get a screen with four colored rectangles at the top that say T1,T2,T3,T4.
Then nothing happened and I had to power down.

N3DS FW11.7.0-40U

Are you using a cfw? If not it probably won't work.

Tried this on my New 2DS, got an error saying it couldn't allocate 256 megs. Any chance there'll be a build specifically for the N2DS?

EDIT: FWIW, I installed it through FBI and my N2DS is running Luma CFW.

You probably copied the q3config.cfg from your pc, delete it and the game should work.

Just released an update with working networking and original 3DS support. Grab it here: https://github.com/masterfeizz/ioQuake3DS/releases/tag/v1.0.0

Oooh wow.. now here's some frontpage worthy content !!
Your work really doesn't get the attention it deserves. It really is impressive to have ported the required parts of MESA to have these ports running on the 3DS.

Now even with old3DS support.. it makes me feel bad i can't even get some simple sprite based games to run fullspeed on a old3DS.

I can't thank you enough for the amazing work you've done for the 3DS.

btw... Multiplayer works like a charm!

Folder layout is sdcard:\3ds\Quake3DS\ioq3\baseq3\<pak files> correct?

I'm being told that pak0.pk3 is missing even after I copy the original 457MB file over the one provided. Am I supposed to overwrite the one provided? Or does it go in \ioq3? Or in the Quake3DS folder? Also do I copy the rest of the folders aside from baseq3 from the original copy?

No, it's 'SD:\ioq3\baseq3\*.pak'
It doesn't go in the 3DS folder.

To use the full version, replace the pak0.pk3 file in 'baseq3/' like you already did.

still stuck with this issue of messages covering quite a bit of the screen. Is it just me?
