Hacking Switch 4.1.0 to 7.01

Hi,

I got a switch 4.1.0 and i just want to play nsp games.i think that save nand 4.1.0 is not important because the last update is 7.01 and most people have the last update and a cfw 4.1.0 is not sure.
My question is: can i update the switch use the nintendo server or use choidujour?

if your switch is unpatched, you never intend to downgrade, and you've never done anything hacking-wise with it, it's fine to just update officially.

Installing nsp will get you banned. Before any homebrew apps, create a nand backup in case one day you wish to connect to the online service

I am on 3.0.0 but update to 6.2.0 with ChoiNX so I can downgrade to lower FW anytime I want to. A cold boot in the future is confirmed to work up to 4.1 and can be made to work on 6.0.1 somewhat. I would recommended update to 7.0.1 with ChoiNX to be safe if you want to.

Again, its your Switch and you can do whatever you want.. Update officially harmless. For me, I wouldn't recommended that if you are SO into hacking and if you don't care then go ahead. Dont crying back to us if you wish to downgrade.

You don't burn fuse with choidujour. Backing up your 4.1.0 Switch nand will be nice to have in the near future

After that, don't connect to online if you're installing nsp. You'll get banned and will not be able to download anything (games, updates, & dlc). Though it is your Switch and you dont care much about Nintendo so you'll just pirate all of it

Whats the point ? The latest games will not working on 6.0.1 not even ignored FW will do. So go ahead and use ChoiNX to update to the latest so you can downgrade back to 6.0.1 when coldboot is available in the future.

Pay attention to the line "*cough* xbins *cough*"

Safest way to get the complete and verified update files. But yeah, you can also search for them on google, if you want to risk it.

No i have a probleme i can't install nsp i got errors.i want to install nsp by tinfoil
