The payload for Atmosphere and other solutions are signed with a PRIVATE KEY. Doesn't get any more "illegal" than that yet you all look the other way. The public key used in SX OS has been known widely for a while now. Double standard.

How is that any different than what SX OS does, since their use of the key can ONLY be exposed by Heskin's unpacker, which apparently is not considered "illegal."

It's simple really.

The way SX OS bundles the key in plain-text leaves it open for anyone to extract or view it like hexkyz/naehrwert's scripts can.

The way Sept is signed leaves zero possibility of deriving the private key.

What about the illegal numbers used in sept? Aren't the seeds used in key derivation not also illegal for the same reason?

I'm not, if I would be bias for the people that know me. It would be probably ReiNX then? Since I talk more with them? I still also use all 3 of them. I was one of the people that pre-ordered SX Pro before release from shop01media.
