This release is marked as BETA because we changed things drastically under the hood to streamline future firmware updates and some things may inadvertently behave differently.

That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!

Of course, we haven't been sitting idly behind the scenes either. A lot of our development resources and attention has been dedicated to bringing SX OS to those "unhackable" switches. i know what emunand , USB loading and XCI support means though

Is "load original firmware" the same as the stock option in atmosphere? I was under the impression stock doesn't really work anymore in 7.0.0 and 7.0.1

Why are people bringing up it took a month for them to release their update. Why should that matter if nothing on the switch requires 7.x. I’m still on 6.2, I’m sure there are people still on 5.1 and that’s because 7.x is not necessary at the moment.

I play smash that’s why I’m on 6.2 because although it works on 5.1, 5.1 needs a patched update, other than that most of the time updates are just there to patch ways to use cfw. I think it was the 7.0 update that should have been a game update just to add extras to new super mario deluxe.

Probably have to use choi in the emunand, then update the boot file after it has updated

If u play super smash bros or fifa 19 fm touch 19 etc you will know the important of update.

Use SX Installer to perform Game updates then you don’t need 7.X to play the games. 6.X is sufficient.
