SX OS 2.6 Beta released: full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x

From Team Xecuter:

This new 2.6 BETA of SX OS adds full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x, including ALL functionality you expect when using our product. We've been pioneering our own unique and proprietary solution for defeating any future firmware protection and we're quite happy with the results so far.

This release is marked as BETA because we changed things drastically under the hood to streamline future firmware updates and some things may inadvertently behave differently.

That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!

Of course, we haven't been sitting idly behind the scenes either. A lot of our development resources and attention has been dedicated to bringing SX OS to those "unhackable" switches. We are working hard to bring the SX OS experience to all of you who are stuck with an "unhackable" switch. Stay tuned for more news!

I am experiencing crashes when i try using SX Installer in conjunction with SX Server.
It crashes at the moment it tries to communicate with my PC over USB.

EDIT:
@garyopa
This is what SXServer on my PC displays right before crashing:
USB Connected
begin recv
read complete
receiving 12 bytes
Recv command! 1
url /api/search?
['api', 'search']
routing
routing to getSearch

Gateway also did regular releases until they didn't. It's a logical fallacy to say something will continue to happen just because it has happened before.

You still don't meet my high standards for entertaining discourse. Come back when you do.
Whats logical its to say that it might update.. as was updated in the past each time a new firm released.. but you just keep saying that " reason to believe it wont.. " " reason to believe its droped. " etc... all negatives..

Circumstances were different, so it was reasonable to think it might not update. The fact that there have been updates in the past when there were more sales, more public exploits, etc. is not reason enough to accept there would definitely be an update.

I also said there would probably be an update. People pretend like I didn't say that.

yes you said it.
again.. you said that updates ocurred in the past when there where more sales.. are you talking about 6.2 ? but thats didint happen too long ago.. so ?

i am just showing you a prespective here.. sxos updated each time there was a firm update.. so there are more reason to believe the norm is that they will update than not.

Oh my god, 14+ pages of garbage Atmos Vs SXOS trash talk. It's like Sony vs XB or Nintendo vs Sega back in the day. Either way you fanboys are really annoying!

Can we please confirm if this is worth updating to or wait for a stable release with bugfixes? Yoshi comes out in 2 weeks, it'll be using 7.x for sure.

Thanks.

i say if you are on 7.0.1 and not wanting to downgrade use it.. but if on 6.2 then you can wait as its not really needed for the time being.. a more stable one will come and maybe they add others things like restart to payload. etc
