I think all the scene in general is frozen in time: you must have an older console with older firmware to get going. new consoles are "ipatched". the older switches are stucked on 6.2.0 if you want stability.
Only Atmosphere is alone on the lead.
sxos, reinx, nsp tools, etc are becoming obsolete because they can't follow the new fw versions..
where are all the people that worked on the fuse gelee exploit give a little help again!?

Keeping a exploit secret is hard. See what happened with ktemkin. I don't say she did what she did on purpose. But one misunderstanding can fk things up. The more people know it, the higher the chance that things leak out.

ReiNX works on 7.X if you use the latest nightly. Of course stuff becomes obsolete if people don't update them. Some gets fed up, with children wanting more and more.

That's a flawed argument when considering that most people (even pirates) don't normally buy a console purely for piracy. It's something that people usually discover they can do after the fact. Even if a pirate was buying a switch for piracy, I'd imagine that they'd try to spend as little as possible on it.

I do, I wouldn't buy a console unless it was hackable and you could run pirate games. I waited until xbox360/ps3/psp/vita/switch/3ds/orignal xbox/ps2/ps1/gba etc were all hackable before I purchased them. I still never bought a new xbox - once it's hacked and all games are playable I would consider it, if that doesn't happen - I would go back to a gaming PC as you can get games for them easily.

You'd probably fall into the group that I mentioned in my last sentence.

Why do people think TX is not going to update?

They have nothing better to talk about, it's just general speculation by mostly TX haters & impatient people.

TX are probably busy fixing their Stargate stuff/servers just now - a well as modding code in some of the other apps they released, also working on CFW. It's not like they have millions of programmers working for them, and those people coding probably have jobs in the daytime that they need to go to - and some probably have families and things they like to do apart from coding.

And they won't want to admit from using Atmosphere code.

Right. And TX updated 1-2 weeks after Atmosphere dropped with new updates. But now Sept has dropped. It has nearly been 3 weeks and we've got nothing. Don't you think that's a little bit suspicious?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also yeah right. They've been trying to fix their paid service for two weeks now. Everyone knows that's a fucking scam.

It's possible they're no longer profitable enough to put in the required time and effort needed to support 7.0.x in the way they want to (i.e. without using sept and acknowledging the existence of free alternatives to SX OS). The situation also mirrors Gateway's silent abandonment of their product.

It's possible atmo will never have emunand... It's possible it will stop bein updated after 8.0 ... It's possible all things.

in other things.. maybe tx are adapting the restart to payload from atmos and/or other stuff.. its not like its hard for them to use sept.. they could just make up an excuse like the xploit is private so they have to use it or whatever.

You can see emuNAND being actively worked on. Atmosphere is also open-source and can be edited and/or forked by anybody, so the things you listed are not reasonable.

For reasons I've stated earlier, it's reasonable to believe TX might have stopped supporting SX OS. The fact that they're not utilizing sept also demonstrates that their business model necessitates the ignorance of many of its users.

i can see it.. it was not out 1 year ago.. and still isnt. of course.. its actively worked on.
yeah, like atmo relies on the ignorance of people not knowing sxos ... keep repeating yourself on every post about the ignorance of the sxos users about free cfw.. the more you do the more its true .. right ?.

Lacius what will you say tomorrow or next week if they release a update using sept or one not using sept ?

are you going to make the same posts after every firmware update ?

you might be right about TX, who knows, time will tell. i think within the next couple of weeks you will be proved right or wrong.
