Team-Xecuter has updated their SX Installer app, check out the changes below:

While our SX OS team is hard at work on our upcoming update supporting Nintendo's 7.0.x firmware, the SX Installer team is happy to bring you another update adding some of the most requests features we received from users by email.

• increased single-threaded install speed.
• added option for multi-threaded network install to increase install speed.
• fixed memory issue with tiny game icon diplay.
• fixed slow boot time when retroarch has a large collection of thumbnails.
• more responsive UI menus.
• added support for the new "SX Server" to easily install NSP's from a windows PC over the network or through direct USB connection.
• General UI enhancements.

SX Server v1.1 is a separate download for advanced users (Windows PC is required).

It's on a NAS server where I also store all my Movies/TV shows. Also stealth mode can't block normal ads on all devices.

true, I also have my backups on my NAS - I can access them from work though usually it's easier to just copy them onto a USB HDD and run them on the Switch from there.

Also there is a docker image for pihole so you could run it on the NAS - https://hub.docker.com/r/diginc/pi-hole/

In that case I apologise - yes Purple_Shyguy is an eejeot if they are indeed updating games on their home screen from the official Nintendo servers, if they are using any CFW at all.

Yes but it won’t come with the correct certificates that would lead to a ban which I doubt TX would want blaming for. You can’t convert a full title with nsc builder? I thought that was updates dlc only etc..

nah with nsc builder u can convert full games that how custom xcis are made with updates and dlc u cant run an update as xci there would be no base game and wouldn't launch

Does anybody else have issues with SX installer crashing their Switch after upgrading the app? Everytime I update, my switch will crash the first time I try to run it.

It will never be an option you cannot convert nsp to xci there is a lot more needed in an xci that an nsp cannot convert too, you can the other way. It’s the same as suggesting why didn’t gateway ever have a conversion from 3ds cia to rom, reason being it cannot be done.

.xci games are mounted like they are a game card. When you go in the official firmware without hacks you can connect online and update from the game settings like normal.

I just installed the latest version of SX Installer and havent used it before.
The release for version 1.0 says "Ability to list and install newer updates available for your game(s)" is that still possible?
I wouldnt mind if it werent, but i would love to at least be able to see if something has an update available, so i can find it elsewhere.

Finally got around to trying out the usb install feature using sx server, had some problems getting everything running properly which is either because I cannot read instructions properly or because the instructions included in the zip aren't particularly clear...

Anyway, works really well, nice and fast and does what it says on the tin
