Hi all. Many many hours have been put in to GC Restoration. Things are going well.

We're testing now. There's a few more features to add. Namely a new small playable preservation format.

Hopefully in 2 to 3 weeks. ;p

There will be a test version released here (after other testing has taken place). The apps are so flexible and there are so many combinations of configuration. I really need some people who are willing to dedicate some time to it.

I'm always busy piling in new features to test it thoroughly myself.

Just to give a bit more info. The next release will be able to restore most GC images (there are many tools that make crazy changes). A new preservation format is also being introduced. .nkit.iso (GC only for the first release) this format is playable and gcz compatible. It's always 2-3mb smaller than iso.dec and supports shrinking of scrubbed images too. PM me if you wish to be a tester.

I have a release candidate ready as of today. I still have gcz compression to add (you can use Dolphin to do it in the meantime).

Also the .nkit.iso files will have the same crc as the original image. So if you use a crc32 image scanner. It will look like the original
