Watch the video you will see it shuts down the cat keeps pushing against the iPhone but you get the point
divx in 2019, lol.
Can't watch it.
Anyway go post your hekate_ipl ini and your loader.ini
You can also try overriding a different title, maybe you picked a unlucky one.
Make sure you don't override some pirated NSP

Did it on my works phone damn thing anyway ini file site wont let me upload it but it looks like this below:-
[config]
tid=app
hbl_path=atmosphere/hbl.nsp
override_key=R

I'm overriding a homebrew nsp.
By the way just to mention and confirm I'm not completely retarded when it comes to setting up a cfw etc.. I have been at this game long enough @m4xw you should know that especially lol

Try updating atmosphere/hbl.nsp with https://github.com/switchbrew/nx-hbloader/releases/download/v2.1.0/hbl.nsp (it should be the same tho).
Also try specifying a title id instead of tid=app, I use botw for example, works great.
It could be you just picked a title that uses enabled some stuff that breaks our stuff (like overriding a 32bit game, will expect 32bit code, we run 64bit code tho).
Anyway if that still doesnt work, that means the patches don't apply, that would mean you either start fusee (which you shouldnt, but you said u use the "cfw" option) or something odd is happening.
Do you have bootloader/update.bin, if so - try deleting it, also are you sure you packed the right bin?
The only time the patches would not work if you use a fw version lower than 4 (then it would always crash as it simply does not exist in horizon)

Just wondering, is there a brightness settings within Retroarch? I looked around for it but couldn't find anything. For some reason some N64 games (like starfox 64) get way dark on my tv, to the point where I can barely see anything. Brighter games work just fine. I tried messing with my TV settings and it did work, however I'd have to revert everything when changing to a brighter game (like Mario 64).
Also, does the latest Retroarch version still have a problem loading the games? If I go to load content -> pick the game, it goes back to the menu but ONLY if I choose the first core on the list. If I choose the second one, it works just fine, but then the second one becomes the first one after I load the next game so it breaks everything again LOL

@m4xw still the same have you got the laest version of the update.bin for atmosphere folder I'm not sure if this is the latest I have also booted it via usb but still the same I have tried it through holding r button still the same I cannot get it working no matter what I try but if I revert back to sxos files its fine but I cannot use the latest N64 emulation. Atmosphere just keeps shuting down on me all the time with an error.

The only way to be sure if you do a basic zip file with what you thinks correct post me the link private pm me if you prefer then I can unzip it on my sd card.

^Use this bundle, replace everything, remove bootloader/update.bin
Also, what fw are you on?

What was the error code you get?
I will have a look again I'm running my sd card through formatter "full overwrite" just to be sure first and then I will unzip the package from sd setup page and have another go, if the error pops up again I will report back with the code.

@m4xw it's bothering me now! I'm on a mission to get it working> you know when something really annoying like this happens to you but it turns into, not what you originally wanted to achieve but now something different that's whats happening with me right now I'm getting frustrated because I cannot sort it!
