Hacking 3.0 to 3.65 official update ??

hi , I have the first version released 1001 , oled , I have a official 32gb in it, I haven't played it for years, I been soo busy, I have 3 vitas actually , I used to try to buy them cheap on ebay before.
they are all low firmwares. on main one I updated it to 3.0 using official Resistance game. I kind of felt bad because I didn't want to update anything in case of a homebrew mod.
I been trying to see how to update 3.0 to 3.65 , since I hear 3.65 is the best to have and use at the moment. I tried different videos online , but when I put their dns number , and using my wifi ,
it didn't work for me. I get an error. Maybe theres a PS Vita game I can buy that just has the 3.65 update on it ?? any games that may have it for that time ?
I try searching for just the 3.65 file and trying to update it like I have mod my own psp originals before. but I couldn't find 3.65 file yet. I been on for about 1.5 hours , 2:30 am ,
going to sleep, but any tutorials on just updating 3.0 to 3.65 official ?
then from there im sure I can find ther rest to go from there. thanks again

even before I clicked sumit , I tried : How to Update manually from Official firmware 3.61 to 3.65 for use with the new h-encore ……
but I get Could not connect to the Internet. NW-9735-4

the DNS servers have been down for some time now, so you need to update manually via your PC or buy a game with 3.65 firmware

goto youtube and search: update vita to 3.65 manually

i really would love to buy a game with the 3.65 , that way in future times I need to update my other vita's or friends , I don't have to worry about finding the files or trying to remember how to or looking it up.
would anyone know of a ps vita game , that would have the 3.65 file built into it ?

and thanks for letting me know about the servers being down , I thought maybe I was doing something wrong , and kind of thought maybe they just recently went down.

Just look for the firmware online and download the files then update through QCMA. It's what I did for 3.6 when it was hacked for the first time. I can't remember much other than editing an XML file since my unit is from Singapore (Example was for US unit).

I would follow the old technique here:

I would download 3.60 then do this tutorial. Then look for the guide on Reddit or google to update 3.60 to 3.65 in order to keep enso.

using a game is certainly the easiest way to update, I've wasted several hours doing manual updates, see below list of U S released 3.65 games, some are digital only and some limitedrungames physical releases

Ah sorry the one 0 tripped me up with how many people ask about updating to 3.65 from 3.60.

Try updating using the 3.60 dns, which is 212.47.229.76 instead of the 3.65 one. I've heard the 3.65 one has been down for a while but the 3.60 on works if I remember correctly.

There's still no reason to update beyond 3.60 with refood and the easier exploit point though.

Theres no reason to update with refood. It's easier to hack 3.60 with a little bit more software. You would have to install it for 3.65+ games anyways. I would just stay on 3.60 with refood to run newer games.

He is on 3.0 not 3.60

i tried to find one I may want to try , I ordered the Secret of Mana , its a japan version, I think it has 3.65 , and Walking dead season 2 , that one because im a fan and collector of the series.
will it be best to get to 3.60 or 3.65 ?

While I recommend connecting to the 3.60/3.65 DNS update servers or getting a 3.60/3.65 game as others have mentioned, you can grab the 3.65 update PUP from the wayback machine if you're interested:

hey you found it 3.65 file , cool , I tried and tried , and last resort decided to post. but im also grad im supporting in purchasing a game with the 3.65 , in case of future Robotic Machines taking over the
world , and no computers are around , but ill have the 3.65 file from a official game , hehehe. I like collecting stuff aswell, and having a huge 200 or 250 micro card. I bought 7 of the adapters, just
waiting for them, in case a friend needs one, and since they were affordable. I cant wait to play some old school rpg games, in ole screen. I hope they have a new psp in the future.
I even bought a original Gameboy brick, with a bigger screen , and Rasberry pi. I Thank all you guys for your valuble time and support. this Best support site forum ever = )

3.60 and 3.65 are the best firmwares to hack due to enso coldboot, so yeah go ahead hack and have fun!

no no don't do it!!

if it's happening when trying to connect PC to Vita download Vita_update_blocker_v1.2.exe to your PC and run it, try again

I had that. Go to Configs and you should see Henkaku settings. Use the spoofer and change it to 3.70.
It may have been configurated at 3.68 or 3.69, that's why you get the update prompt.

Nope.

I cannot remember if you had to actually update to 3.65.

You did, but it wasn't just an official update. You had to unload all plugins & run a special updater app that did the official update stuff & then installed enso before rebooting.

I thought you did some weird trick with 3.60 to sub update it in hen.

It's not a "sub update", it's actually updating but also installing enso at the same time.
