What's the latest firmware that can be hacked throw RCM these days?

Switch.Hacks.guide isn't really updated I don't think, and states that 3.0.0 is the max firmware you can still hack on. Is that correct or is there another, more up to date guide

Excellent info. Thanks a lot for this!

If it's just the Fusee method I'm assuming it's very similar to how I did it back on 3.0.2. Impressive that he can work so fast on these hahaha

So I want to get sys-netcheat loaded on Atmosphere, but every time I go into AutoRCM and inject the payload, the system automatically reboots back into the Switch. I can't access the Switch boot up menu to select other payloads. Anyway to fix this?

so i want to use https://gbatemp.net/threads/mhgu-save-editor.515460/ in order to move my save file on my 3ds to mhgu on switch. how ever, for what ever reason when using jksv to try and get my save, it gives me an error saying it cant open the save archive. it seems to be the only game that wont let me get the save file even after updating jksv. any one know any troubleshooting i can do to find out why?

I have a legit cart version of SSBU and my switch isn't on the latest firmware update for obvious reasons (its on the previous one). Am I ok to install Piranha Plant DLC as well as the latest Smash Bros update?

you can’t get the piranha plant without 7.0.0 I tried. :(

If you are asking if you can get banned for making a backup of your NAND, it depends on what tool you are using. If you are using Hekate, you most likely would never get banned as Hekate is loaded in RCM which is before the NAND is triggered so it should be undetectable. If you are using a homebrew application like the ReiNX toolkit, then you risk a ban since you need to run homebrew in order to do so which can get logged in the NAND and translate into a ban later down the road.
oh snap thanks for that :)

Even though my console was banned, I decided to use 90dns, so I could go online with web browser or retroarch without the need of my computer, I also don’t want the 7.0 update to be downloaded. Just one question though, I just need to use the primary dns, if I’m correct the second one is really for users who haven’t been banned yet, at least that’s what I recall.

Just look for the smash update online and you can stay on 6.2 and still have the piranha plant

well you can make a nand backup 6.2 and boot01/00 and later downgrade it to 6.2 if you install 7.0

Nvm you just need the nsp file for the update and you can get it without updating firmware

But update to 7.0.0 dont burn the e-fuses?
How can i update and downgrade after unlink the account?

inject hetake and do a complete nand backup 6.2 and boot00/01 before trying anything. Then use ChoiDujourNX to upgrade to 7.0 without burning fuses and then downgrade to 6.2 using the same tool. Sorry if i can not be that helpul but i'm just like a month in this forum. But you can follow this tutorial or create a new thread for more assistant. https://guide.sdsetup.com/#/manualupdate

if you have a backup you dont need to manual downgrade, just restore the backups

so if you have both boo0 and boot1 + nand backup you can upgrade officially + autorcm or using choidujourNX (no fuses burnt) to 7.0 then to go back you just restore your backup in hekate. I made a quick tutorial the other day on how to downgrade with 9 burnt fuses
